Cup games make Money we would not, Do not have, Any and all clubs want that money.

We have already been cleaned out by Ebbsfleet, Wealdstone, Woking, Braintree, Dagenham, Brackley. IMO
Thats why i believe tonights result is Pivital.

Oh, it matters alright, because if Pools win tonight Sarll more than likely carries on as manager. If we get beat he probably (possibly...who knows?) gets the boot, and there's a decent chance Pools under new management will be playing better football and winning more games by the time we go to the likes of York.

Right OK, Whos been saying it doesn't matter

"there's a decent chance Pools under new management will be playing better football and winning more games"
Thats nailed on, We would be playing better football with any of us "Clever Dicks" in charge.
Anyway i,m paying for the £8 stream.

Aye just like the 1 0 defeat at Ebbsfleet, Where if we had gained that point it could have helped to get us into the POffs later in the season.

Just setting off for the Game from Ketrin- should be there in about an hour.

Feels like any other away day- I travel in hope rather than expectation! And that's against a bunch of part timers who've all been to work today banghead

Come on Pools- Nowt to beat!

In the ground having a pre match pint-

Went to the turnstile and said to the operator is this the right one - fella says I should think so- we've only got the ONE!

First impressions are it's too nice to be a football ground- they have pleasant toilets for a start, no segregation, has a bit of rugby union feel to it. Guessing it's a bit like darLO's new home. Spotted a handful of Poolies so far

Been a fairly even first half. We look so much better with Fev in the middle putting his foot on the ball. Dodds had a couple of half chances, but no confidence shooting. They look dangerous on the break and always looked like they had a goal in them. Poor defending from what I could see after a solid save from Brad from a CORNER, for their goal.

We looked pretty good before our goal but it’s been shocking since then. The brackley commentators have us sussed ‘Hartlepool looked much better when they played the ball on the floor through Featherstone on Saturday but they’ve reverted to long ball now’

Charman is classic example, a trier but so little ability, probably playing a division above where he should be but Sarll knocks one out over him because he runs around a lot

We are a zombie club, Singh only shit himself with Askey when he thought we may go down, is he just content to plod around in the bottom half?

It may just be worth taking our medicine, letting him wind the club up and starting again

Been watching the game from the start. We were all over them the first 15 minutes - because that's how long it took them to be underwhelmed by us.

Once they worked out we didn't have a plan, were positionally all over the place and have a left back who (even though I like him) has been far from ideal recently - they've absolutely tonked us.

We look like we couldn't score if we had a hundred years in a knocking shop with a grand sellotaped to our knob. Fuck this. Sack the prick.

Currently in a McDonalds on my way home (left with 10 to go). First HUFC game I have attended this season and cannot believe how poor they are at defending set pieces. Brackley were never going to score in open play in a month of Sundays; every time they had a corner or throw-in near the box, it was heart in mouth time. When the Brackley fans started singing “Sacked in the morning”, the only possible reply was “F’kin hope so”.

I’ll be home before 10.30, nicely fed. Safe journey to everyone going back to the north east tonight.

All over them first 20, Did not make it count.
Dodds and Fergie doing WB runs and leaving holes down the flanks.
Marking in the penalty area non existent.
We were about to defend a long throw, So numnuts decides to sub Dodds for Steele.

Mancini went off, Lad from palace came on and we went to shit.
He really, really has to go.

Final whistle went numnuts shuck hand with the oppo and officals, clapped our fans for about 30secs, Then him and his side kick marched down the pitch to the changing rooms, left the players standing.
Almost forgot he Hugged one of the Brackley players (Newton) who used to play for him at Stevenage.

Watched the live stream. Decent enough first half but pathetic second. Embarrassing how easy we were to score against from a long throw - Ferguson MIA at the back post for the umpteenth time. Will be amazed in Smith and Waterfall aren't back in for the next game, but we can't change the left back because we haven't got another one!

The only good that can come from this is Sarll's P45.

Much easier tonight at their place as we'd seen how they played Saturday. Enough. Well let's give him one last hilarious post match interview. Schoolboy defending. I can't defend the players, we created chances, their keeper was man of the match what does that tell you? I can hear it now. Quality stuff. I was trying to work out why Parkes was playing left mid in the second half. Did I dream that? Good luck to Brackley. And good luck to you Darren in your next role. Plain and simple it hasn't worked out. We were well beaten by a part time team who played with passion and motivation.
