Don't care.

Don't like watching them.

Don't feel any connection with them.

Positively dislike a number of them.

Hate the thought of them becoming lifetime legends.

But don't really want to see them lose.

How mixed up am I?

Southgate now claiming the players weren't in the right frame of mind for the group phase? Does he realise how f*cking stupid that comment t makes him?

i,ll join you apart from in some ways i,d like to see em lose. get sick of people with no interest in the game becoming experts for a few weeks every couple of years. doubt those who find tennis for only two weeks a year pretend to be experts on serving, backhands and drop shots. you can love your country without loving the team that represents it.

Poolie 27 I'll not punish you on this occasion - 'always looked up to' - cheeky s*d. (Can't we just give the cup to Spain and send the egos that are Lineker, Shearer et al home for the summer?)

Southgate FINALLY got some praise he deserved. Not my type of manager but credit where its due. I hope he rests Harry because he has a injury and lack of movement is causing us problems. Watkins must start after that and Harry a back up. I would also play Palmer but won't be to concerned it not. U.T.E.

Forget the result. The question is… did you watch ‘them’?

I see Ollie Watkins made his professional debut for Exeter City v Pools back in 2014, I'm sure that having such a tough game made him the player that he is today. :)

That’s the TV off for the rest of the day, why does it have to be in your face every 5 minutes also interviewing all the women who probably have never been to a football match in their life, no other sport gets the same coverage.

You are correct Mr Snowy.

But should the tactical genius have made the changes earlier? Guess it doesn't matter as he got the result.............

its our national game though and not a minority sport. agree though about them going OTT but only reporting about fans being them same. many of these fans will i,ll guess never see a live game or very few games on the box but come out every two years as some super fan of the game.

It takes a special mindset to only see a downside to the England football team's best result in 58 years

Can't argue with the result.
Still a sense of underperformance though comparing the 2 halves. They reacted to our dominance by playing an extra midfielder, we had no answer and allowed them to get control of the game. Maybe we could or should have changed tactics to remain dominant?
Well have a chance against Spain if we can play like we did first 45 but they'll tear us a new one if we try sitting back.

no, best result for 3 years since they won there last semi final. its just a normal response for someone who gets peed off with the media banging on and on about something making the most as possible out of a situation to the extent of pissing people off.

thing is even on a good day how many times do you see pools having two equally good halfs nowadays.

England were the home team in 2018. They've never made it through to a final on foreign soil in 74 years of trying (starting with the 1950 World Cup in Uruguay). Till now.

Fantastic first half, one of the best ive seen for a southgate team. Seems to have a problem though raising the team in the 2nd half of games, we seem to die off somewhat. Credit though that he somehow keeps getting results and Sunday if we can somehow beat the spanish will probobly be a once in a lifetime thing and the feelgood factor would be huge not only for English footy, but will impact pools too, im sure more fans will come to pools next season if England win the euros.

there was an increase in crowds back in 1966 due to the world cup win. however it should not be a once in a lifetime event looking at the number of english pro players there ar around compared to smaller countries who have won something.

Spain will make it an open game, like the Dutch did in the first half. Koeman shut up shop when he realised England were playing through them too easily. Can't see Spain doing that, they'll just count on outscoring us! Should be an absolute cracker of a game, whoever wins it. I just hope England don't score first, otherwise Southgate will try to shut up shop

Barking King Charlie obviously has no clue about football and doesn't understand the sheer beauty of a 90th minute winner. England last night was as much fun as Pools nicking the points at the death in the home win against Gateshead - Callum Cooke's run and cross was his best moment in a Pools shirt.
