The so called statement released was nothing more than comments to the press.
They were the interpretation of Phillips comments by a journalist, not a statement.

like ones from all the sacked managers since challinor left. you,d only find the truth from their sides if you met em all in a pub after they,d had a few to relax their mouths. even players find little out from their ex managers and thats after having a good relationship with them at the club. words like i cannot tell you everything but----- come to mind and that but is not much more than the fans know.
