As I said why does he want a business plan, only banks ask you for a business plan if you want to borrow money for your business .
Once he has sold Pools, gets it off his hands as he says he wants to why should he be interested what happens in the future ?

He wants a business plan to make sure we are in safe hands, which in some ways is fair enough, so ive drawn up a business plan over the weekend for us to take over, when i have tea with raj this week. Now in my business plan im expecting us to lose 1 million a year. What if raj turns round to me over tea and says actually were losing 5 million a year? Does that mean my ten minutes drawing up my plan has been wasted?

I think it’s fair enough him wanting a plan as he’ll want to see when he will get his money back. I also think for this to be done he needed to actually provide the accounts which he didn’t do for whatever reason.
I also think it’s fair to ask Raj for his plans, not money wise with figures, but what he plans to do for the club. He’s said he was pulling funding then gone back on it so clearly wants to keep the club. What are his future plans for us on and off the pitch

Raj has always said he'll only sell to people who can prove to him that they can move the club forward, they obviously didn't do that, so he rejected the offer - I'd say every Poolie wants the owner to be able to progress us a club so surely he's done the right thing.

Surely the consortium could quite easily have said we'll have a business plan within a week and complete the deal then?
They made an offer based on the information they had, so produce a business plan based on the information you have. It doesn't add up that they could offer to buy but not show how the club would be run.

Well the excuse or reason for that is how do you form a plan, if you dont know how much your needing? If they plan to spend 2 million on players, what happens then if raj produces the full accounts which you should do if you want to sell something like a football club and hidden thibgs in their wipe out your 2 million immediately. Your business plan goes straight up in smoke.

You and Raj have never been seen together in the same place…..is there something you aren’t telling us.

if pools improve on the pitch i can see raj hanging around for a lot longer than if they don,t. its easier to have an expensive hobby when things are all rosy and the lock on your wallet might be took off for awhile.

You probably wouldnt sell it if you made crazy requests of the buyer. He take on your finance and show you his plan to maintain the car and make monthly payments. In fact once word spread, nobody would want to do business with such a person, left with a depreciating, neglected asset that you would inevitably grow sick of and scrap anyway.

If a buyer said that to me I hope he’d take the barely disguised hint….and that on reflection I rather like this car.

Something just dawned on me…..why demand a three year plan for a business you’re selling and off your hands, why give a toss, it’s not your problem anymore.
If I sell my car I don’t ask a buyer for a three year maintenance plan…it’s the buyers problem, not mine.

What is interesting reading this thread how much criticism I got.....shows that even over a year ago a lot of people were still giving Singh the benefit of the doubt---thats not an I told you so as I only 'turned sceptical' after the last sale debacle.....but does go to show how much good will has been burned through this last year.
