just what got football into the state it is andhas become. its not as if games are better than the old days with the present number of backroom staff like strength and conditioning coaches and diaticians. Whats wrong with just having a chief scout called that and having as many as possible working under them in different areas. you do not need to have played 100,s of league games to see if a player is crap or not.

Aye, you’re right there.
People go on about fitness levels monitoring etc, etc, but until they can get a fancy vest to monitor and check their commitment, their fight and will to win, their fancy Dan vest counts for bugger all, just fit wimps.
