We're still getting used to your levity Snowy. We are slow but we'll get there.

Why do they seem to have become a closed group who never appear to communicate to the rest of the fan base??"

Also, welcome back from outer Mongolia.

What's outer mongolia got to do with collectives and the trust,
Actually I've never been there, have you.

Because you have to have been there to not know what HUST is up to, unless you think they need to be putting out regular updates straight to your inbox?

What was it like? Nearest I've been is Iraq..... which isn't near

I am positive for the season ahead, it’s a step change from the last pre-season & Raj is still putting money in which I’m eternally grateful for - it’s just a shame the absolute decision-making debacle that unfolded last year means we have to go again the absolute doldrums of the National League. Different decisions made… 100% different outcome, for the betterment of our football club.

there were reasons to start feeling more positive the day JA walked into the club but was too little too late in the end. raj is only human like the rest of us and will make mistakes and make more but hopefully not as bad as those in the past. always wonder if he gets taken in by the wrong people and advice he does get from others involved in the game might not be the best. his big detracters though will always say he is arrogant and its his way or the highway. thing is none of us has a clue about it like most stuff that goes on at pools nowadays.

It just seems to me that the Trust venture is stalling. When was the last time they had a recruitment drive? When Monkeybutt was looking after membership there seemed to be a bit of momentum. If they're thriving then fine but I need convincing.
I heard somebody compare outer mongolia with Wagga. now I have been there.

I think some fans accept in Singh we trust whilst others think there are ongoing discussions for a take over and everyone has become complacent.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Raj was here this time next season

Raj absolutely hates criticism - not a great character trait for a football club chairman to have, as moaning is second nature for fans whenever their club is doing badly. If he had an ounce of forbearance in his make up he'd have realised that 'chairman out' chants are par for the course the day a club gets relegated. The current nonsense with the Hartlepool Mail is typical pettiness.

As it is, even people who massively distrust his intentions can see that the wheels haven't come off, Askey is being allowed to reshape his squad and even the Academy and the women's team are carrying on as normal. Pools were in a much poorer situation during the Covid lockdown, when there was no income coming in and everything had to be cut to the bone. We got promoted on the back of that, so credit where it's due - he's nobody's fool. There are worse chairmen than him around and we've had worse ourselves.
