To late now.
But 25 fans paying £20 v Woking=next to nothing.
700 fans paying a tenner= a nice little earner.
Maybe we need a Arthur Daley style ceo! sctatchinghead
Surely a non league club has to do the basics to maximise its revenue.

I said the same thing after the Barrow game, televised so getting a wedge for that, Tenner in would mobilise the couch potatoes maybe.

That’s two games in a row you have said reduce prices. I understand the rational but you can only do it so many times a season due to League rules, when we have won three on the bounce and before the weather has got bad maybe isn’t the time to do it?

Hopefully we keep winning and our crowds build with people paying full price, the owners have put a lot of money in at the end of the day our support is excellent considering the crap that’s been served up over a long period of time but we still have 1,500-2,000 who will return if we’re doing well without cheap tickets. It shouldn’t need that.

No point reducing prices for a game thats on TV.

Makes more business sense to do a reduction for a game not "free" to watch at home or in a pub.

I would agree with you but then we would both be wrong.

There will be more uptake on a price reduction on a game thats not widely 'free' to view.

Fact.

doubt price reductions get that many more to go to watch. you either like pools or you don,t. halifax town and bradford city are the closest to me and if not playing pools then free admission would not get me into those places without going with a mate.

People said this last season about the Barnet game but the attendance was actually above average if i recall correctly. Hopefully the England game won't hamper the attendance mind.

Not angry at all, although your fucking wanky posts would make a Saint angry, the UC references wasn’t really needed and a little bit shit

To be fair, I wish my only point of reference was to run down the club I say support commercial ventures down

Why don’t you actually put your money where your cakehole is and offer to run it as you think it should on the basis if it works, we build a big fucking statue of you and place it in the a spot of your choice at the club, but if it fails you reimburse the club tenfold on the cost of wages and utilities used?

PS

You are fat, fat people by and large sweat more and you are a Tory, QED

It would be good if the club would make a statement on the lack of stock in the shop and the sizing issue of garments.(and dont say you need a 7XL cos you are a fat twat please)

I imagine the "sizing issue" is nothing to do with the club, unless you think the club should be demanding O'Neills to change their sizes just for Pools tops?

Presuming 7XL is a real size then I presume that means they are catering for at least 10 different shirt sizes? Isnt that a good thing? Lots of clubs just do small, medium, large and XL.

yes, but XL was for really big guys unlike me who used to wear a medium and now even large can be a little tight. problem is i,m the same weight as i was 30 years ago , so its not me but manufacturers sizer thats altered. imagine others are the same and its not just football items either.

So you have to buy a different size? Wheres the problem?

If they are doing 10 different sizes then the incremental differences between each size will be really small and therefore you will have to put up with the massive hassle of buying a shirt that isnt your 'usual' size.

Club Statement;

“The club shop has ran out of certain sizes of shirts and is awaiting another delivery of stock, we will keep supporters updated. It is also been brought to our attention that many of our fans are of different sizes and body shapes especially the kiddies and morbidly obese”

Could be a game changing statement this is and definitely crucial if the club wants to continue.

Lots of people complaining seem to be moaning about the lack of massive shirts and the lack of children's goalkeeper shirts. There could be link along the lines of obese people producing obese kids who then ask to play in goal so they don't have to run about much.

Maybe the club shop is part of a secret public health initiative aimed at nurturing a generation of super-fit Poolies to recruit from?

I think Pools are trying to get away from dated theory that you put the fat kid in nets because he ‘fills the goal’ we’re in the era of Peps sweeper keepers we have even signed a custodian who does Cruyff turns.

Hopefully they will clarify this in the statement.

Was Martin Hollund our last keeper with a penchant for the Cruyff turns?

His name made you think of Cruyff turns but if I remember rightly Martin was more a generally decent keeper who was quite skilled in desperately trying to handle startled panics in the penalty area.

Anyway, how would a Pep style sweeper-keeper fit with the golden defensive principle of not fannying about with it?

*puts on tinfoil hat* what if Pools make the kits so tight so fans buy less food at the ground just so the club loses money? #conspiracyineptitude

There's a size guide on the O'Neil's website that gives you the sizes for Mens, Womens, Unisex, Kids etc in inches and centimetres. They are actual chest and height measurements so you compare them to something you already own that fits well and then place your order.

I carried out this complex procedure for my obese goalkeeping son and it fits great. He looks like a sausage bursting out of its skin but he should eat less if that bothers him.

Are all of our players now eligible to play for the Republic of Ireland as they wear ONeills shirts?

Hope that includes child goalkeeper tops in all sizes and they're opening round the clock to sell them. If not, there'll be hell on.

I'm sure there was a miscommunication to retail staff, not an lie. Also as a master retailer you should know, if there is no/little demand, don't supply. Just saying for a friend.
