I think 5-3-2 is the way to go at this level. Most teams have lumbering centre backs that milk turns quicker than. They want you to play 4-4-2 in straight lines so they can head it and clear it all day. Pull them into the channels and create space for others. Two mobile strikers who can hold the ball up can go a long way.

It interesting Allen tried to match us up in the first half an hour yesterday and we were all over them, they obviously don’t have the players to play it.

He's not let us down but Davies for Anderson as soon he's fit enough, you don't leave out your captain and best defender if available.

Good players win matches not tactics. The way to go is change your tactics to thwart ( hope that's the right word ) the opposition on the day. Given that most teams in this league do have big tall meatheads in defence , invariably 3-5-2 or 5-3-2 should get you over the line, assuming you have decent players of course. It appears that we have, a good mix , not just a team of giants like most of our opponents.

I thought their centre half to the left of Nelson yesterday was poor ,and James could of had him in his back pocket, I don't think Nelse was too impressed with him either. James didn't press home the advantage as he could/should have, but maybe that's just me being greedy.
