Matty Bates sent dick pics to Preston from the Ordinary boys?

Laing MOTM for me today

Funny how people see things differently my mate text me at half time and his main subject was Laing and how much of a bag of nerves he was and how he’d nearly gifted Orient a couple of goals!

he got caught under the ball once which resulted in him stretching for a header which he ended up playing to their striker, he probably should have left it and concentrated on getting back to challenge the striker.

He also needlessly ran an innocuous ball out for a corner, but that was more part lack of communication from others, part poor control from him.

Other than that, he was solid, got in some great blocks and headers. His heading has improved massively compared to earlier in the season. He wasn't outstanding by any stretch of the imagination, but was a solid 7 out of 10 in a game where most of the others were 6.

He's the type of player that would thrive playing alongside a commanding older head, like a Mirfin or a Sam Collins.

Bates went out with Chanelle not Chantelle.

I don't suppose this guy would fancy the Pools job and I doubt we could afford him, but the last two paragraphs should act as inspiration to any incoming Manager. Surely the law of averages should mean that this time we get the next appointment right.

Can't believe Matty Bates stormed off Never Mind the Buzzcocks when Simon Amstell read exerts from Ged McNamee's autobiography.
