It’s fucking tedious that’s all I’m saying, metioning that word was probably going over the top but it’s really not funny or adding anything.

Yes, because you saying to sussex or monkeybutt "This is about as funny as <insert atrocity here>" is also hilarious.

Moving to Abu Dhabi has stunted your brain development.

I’m bored of it, it wasn’t that funny the first time so it’s not the 100th. Wherever you live you’re no less full of yourself.

Do what you want I won’t rise to it again but it gets in a bit tedious in two threads trying to post about Pools getting shite thrown back at you in reply about where you live. What has that got to do with it?

Technically it's where you don't live.

I think Yloop is saying people who live away don’t get to see matches as much as others. Like myself I can’t comment anymore on matches as I don’t unfortunately get to any living away. Also just to at Yloop is a cock and likes a good wind up unfortunately I didn’t see a lot of him in my youth as I couldn’t look him in the eye :)

Can't see it Snowy. As Chunky1988 said, this is going to be a long haul, there is just too much to unravel, it will take at least 3 years , and its the long game or no game imo. We need to build solid foundations, not just go up and come straight back down. We need to build up the club off the field, so that when if and when we do go up, we are strong enough to not just survive in league 2 but make a good fist of attempting to get into league 1 , otherwise what is the point?.

It has to start somewhere. Get the attitude right and the manager right and the rest will fall into place.
STOP saying why it can’t be done. It's a time of change, a long overdue time to start getting the place sorted out.
Are you seriously suggesting we hang about getting everything right before we make an attempt at promotion? It's about seizing opportunities. Have you ever seen a team decline promtion because they weren't white prepared behind the scenes.....?

Who is saying why it can't be done? not me. I'm saying it will be difficult, two different things. Of course we can go up first time of asking, I would like that, but I just don't want to see us go up and be struggling again, but if we are I will take that over being in the National League. Its not as easy as just getting the manager right, there has to be a vision, a plan and infrastructure in place. On paper we had the right manager and players in place last summer, but look what happened, maybe it happened because the club was more or less dead behind the scenes..

It's not impossible but it's also not going to happen how fans are wanting it

it's been ridiculous the clean slate we have needed for seasons and it never happens. We have seen many fans saying get rid of everyone but by doing that you would then need to sign about 15 players. not happening

8 were signed for the start of this season. Loach, Cassidy and Newton seem about adequate for a mid-table National League side - probably not for a promotion challenging side.
Laing and Adams have mostly been poor. George, Munns and Donaldson have hardly been seen.

We're all counting on Higgy to do better but he won't be signing players of the standard of two seasons ago. Can't pay those wages any more.

As we are taliking about the Solihull game, did anyone notice that the big difference between chances created for both teams. The Solihull strikers did not as far as i can remember win headers in the final third, what they did was back into our defenders, laing and Magnay, keeping them away from the ball and bringing it down on their chests or controlling it at their feet and laying it off for the midfielders and building from there. Whereas our strikers repeatedly ‘tried’ mostly unsuccessfully to get a head on any balls lumped up to them. The solihull defenders were the only ones on the pitch who won and needed to win headers.
Just an observation!
