What the F**K am I witnessing here??

I certainly don't want to see pools go under but if that happens and we re form under people who care about the club and have its best interests at heart then it's a no brainer for me to still go. As said before it's Hartlepool, playing at the Vic in the same colour strips, why would I not want to get behind it!?!. It'd looking increasingly like this will happen and we all need to support it. Clubs have bounced back from this before and are in better shape now. Obviously I would love someone to come in and save us but I'm still prepared to support the club whatever the outcome!

I usually agree with Snowy but if a reborn Pools come up against Darlo in the near future, I am convinced that all the old rivalry would manifested on the terraces.

If players on the field have no fight, no commitment, no winning mentality, no character, you'll suffer. Trouble is we've had for several seasons footballing contractors here to do a job and apparently f**k all else, and even doing a job is open to question.
You need stability, a manager who can build a team and equally importantly you need a boardroom that actually cares about the club too.

And for what it's worth I think Darlo are still Darlo.... And Pools are Pools, we can't be defined by a rule book.

Am I right in what I am hearing about Joe Allon and Lee Clark having a joint managerial role? Correct me if I'm wrong by all means just what a fair few people were talking about when I was at the match on Saturday.

Specially with as PJ said with Lee Clark been there on Saturday.

Rodney has the physical attributes to be a beast of a player but there is nothing between those ears, he doesn't know where he needs to be most the time and his finishing would generally be better suited to rugby conversions. Loach is probably demoralised playing behind these lot, kicking could have been better today though. Felt sorry for oates and cassidy, they put a bit of effort in but were again let down by their team mates. Oh and George had a better game at right back.

The club is dying a slow painful death on and off the pitch and the whole situation is thoroughly depressing and I don't see anything changing soon.

Totally agree with what you have said there, I was in the Town End the first half and featherstone came over near the goal to get the ball off the crowd and dammmm I noticed the kite on him like to say the least, No where near that Pre Season Picture off Nathan Luscombe when he turned up to training anyone Remeber that? Looked like he had eat Half off Venezia's Deliveries the night before, He should of been sent home there and then and had his contract terminated (Luscombe) Anyone know where he is now??

Ohhh yeah I seem to Remeber it was under Neale Cooper to, I Remeber when we used to go on them pre season tours of Holland I know we don't go on them now obviously with the clubs financial plight but when was the last time we went on one? I also can Remeber Celtic Nation to didn't they come into some money or something I also Remeber Adam Boyd having a few games with them to, Boyd was oustanding during his first spell was a good football player in my opionion would of been even better if he stayed off the booze and the pies and devoted himself to the fitness side off things.

According to the all-knowing Wikipedia, they were renamed from Gilford Park and got some sponsorship from a US/Scottish Millionaire - they looked a bit like an ex-Pools XI at some point, with Boyd, Spike Lee and Paul Arnison on the books, and Wadsworth managing! However the money ran out and they went bust. I seem to remember there was speculation at the time that it might be someone trying to find a backdoor way into the English Leagues for Celtic - the idea being to get them up the leagues, then Celtic would take over their place.... when it became obvious it was a non-starter, the money dried up and they quickly went pop.
