I don't know what mechanism is proposed for the just giving page monies going to pay off the club's debts. Is it an option for them to be given copies of outstanding non Sage debts and pay them directly without the money ever going through the club ie the only debt not being paid will be the one to Sage? So pay the laundry service, the coach company HMRC and contribute to the staff and players. Don't pay the interest to Sage and the Directors wages. If the club has never had the monies through their books there can be no accusation that creditors have been paid out of sequence and Rachel can demonstrate to the Just Giving donors that she has done what she said she would do.

This wonderful lady needs to get some legal advice on what she should use this money for as she could get into trouble here. Its unclear when the page ends (30 or 120 days from its start date of 10-1-18?) or if it can be be taken out early.
One way or another it will end up in her bank account and she needs to be professionally advised by a solicitor or accountant who has specialist knowledge in this field.

I think the rules changed recently, so now parachute payments are over two years and the first payment has been doubled. As long as we are the same team (takeover or leaving admin with a CVA) we should get the second installment.

Whats the betting your major creditor asks for the full parachute payment in order to waive the rest of their debt.

We don’t have any creditors as such, we’re not in administration and hopefully won’t be!

You are correct. This explains it:

This fella streams Football Manager 2018 on Twitch (I understand that probably means nothing to a lot of people) but he has no affiliation with Pools other than being a football fan and he's doing a fundraiser for Pools. He has a good following and has already raised over £1500 at the time of typing this. Pretty amazing stuff really.

£2280 when I looked by the way.

I’ve been playing that game for free for years.

I clicked the link and he was dressed as a woman by the end.

All of these fundraising efforts are fantastic.

When the Trust was fundraising at its formation I suggested that they look at re-issuing the Never Say Die CD via streaming. That would allow people all over the country to give a couple of quid for the download. Someone said it was being looked at by the Trust. Hopefully it might be part of the Trusts's fundraising package to be launched soon.
