Much needed win that against a team we tend to do well against. Hopefully hignett has realised amond needs someone up front with him and sticks with it. Accrington and Grimsby coming up a great chance to pull away from relegation zone.

Paynter looked liked he pulled a groin early on, blowing out of his arse after 60 mins.

When Oates came on, why didn`t Allesandra go right wing and Oates up front?

Or was he part of the 6 man midfield master plan sctatchinghead

Yeah Oates must play up front being the goal machine that he is.

When Harrison was dead good for us when we stayed up under Moore, we were playing 352. The Moore made all them signings and I thought that was going to be his plan going forwards, but we've never played it since. I think that it's the best formation for our squad, and it needs to be stuck to for a few weeks.

I agree, certainly at home. It's a way for us to play two up front without exposing our weakness in midfield as much.

What happened with Paynter when he came off? Looked like an argument with Higgy or someone on the touchline and then he was off down the tunnel?

3-5-2 relies on the quality of the wingbacks (particularly their fitness and mobility) and one of the 3 at the back having qualities on the ball to act as a sweeper type player. Mirfin was obviously high quality for us in that season we stayed up.

It should suit our midfield as well and allow the qualities of Featherstone to flourish rather than highlight his weaknesses. Anyways let's see, selection and formations appear to be from the tombola in recent weeks so who knows what will come next

He went for treatment, he tweaked his hamstring or groin in the first 20 minutes and was stretching again just before he went off.

He was stretching after about 5 minutes, was surprised to see him stay on as long as he did

Yes you can see that on the highlights. Stretching from the start

Must of injured himself jumping far too early and sprinting far too slowly.
