If that is the argument, perhaps Hignett and the players had a case huh?

That is true it's just after the week that's been you'd have thought his presence was a bit more important at the end of day he's chairman of our club it's his job. I can barely remember him missing a game before yesterday.

I worked Christmas Day. In fact I probably have worked it for 75% of my working life. I actually think it's poor of the Chairman not turn up for a Boxing Day game, particularly given the current circumstances.

Given the circumstances, his absence will lead to speculation, unwarranted or not.

I take it the chairman told people he was going to his mothers for christmas. So therefore it must be true.

At the moment if the chairman said the moon was round I would ne looking for a square one.

I have heard it's going to be a replica of the savoy in the strand.

And it will be rammed with all of hartlepools rich and famous paying 400 pounds a night for the privilege.

Hundreds of people have come up to me even today saying its ridiculous the lack of hotel rooms in raby road.

Higgy was sat next to Mark Burrows. Oh his other side were two little girls, possibly or probably his daughters.
I was a bit surprised the new puppy wasn't under the seat.

No he had one of his own plus a nice coat with a fur collar. And a nice pair of white, possibly snakeskin winklepickers!

Maybe that is why he's always been so mysterious and we've not seen much investment because 'Goldberg' is in fact two little girls. He's probably been mascot three times.

At least we might see some sort of contribution this week surely he has a bit of Christmas money spare from people who weren't thoughtful enough to buy a proper gift and the odd selection box.
