I liked Peter Kay, but I do think the more you watch him the more you realise he recycles a lot of his jokes. His sitcoms seem pretty dependant on jokes about people in wheelchairs and people with dwarfism, and his stand up is nostalgia from when he was a kid.

He seems a very different person off camera. A bit more serious.

Jim Jeffries....best stand-up EVER!!!!

Lee Evans....thought he was shite....but when me and our lass first met we watched him....on telly, not in the flesh....I/we pissed ourselves laughing!!!!
Tried her with Jim Jefferies....she didn't like the 'rapey' bits!!!!

Jim Jefferies is superb, and goes under the radar quite a lot in this country. Seems to be bigger in the US. Whilst his material is ridiculously crude and probably difficult to watch for some people, it's actually very clever when you think about it.

Would seriously recommended his Netflix specials, at least for those people who aren't easily offended.

His entire catalogue is superb. He made a TV show a few years back called Legit, if you haven't seen it I'd recommended that highly too Mutley.

I saw something with Bob Monkhouse a few years ago were he stood in front of an audience and asked them to fire any word or topic at him and he'd have a joke about it. He was a seriously talented bloke who's stand up gets lost because of the TV personality he became.

"When I said I wanted to be a professional comedian, they all laughed at me. Well they're not laughing now."

A bloke to watch who I think will be huge is Tom Binns.

Does a character called Ivan Brackenbury, who is a shit hospital radio DJ.

Plus loads of others, including a shit psychic from Sunderland.

Did a pilot show about a year back set in a hospital, and has been given a 6 part series. I've seen him live a couple of times, once in front of me and about 10 others, and the second time he got a standing ovation from a full house.

Its wrong for Peter Kay to make a joke about gay people but Craig and Bruno can sit there giving inuendo's every time a male Dancer swivels his backside or shows his chest.

Male dancers are fair game. Those that aren't gay have their pick of loads of slim, beautiful women. Bastads.

That's just his signature, his first sentence was about Peter Kay.

Not sure why he's done that but there's one other poster with the same kind of thing.
