If Pools were to donate the gate receipts to this poor little boys family or a cancer charity I'd definitely go.

Not seen the pictures but I hope to fuck that it's 199 in the away end and some old bloke stood chomping on a pie in the home end all by himself.

320ish from the ticket system just before the game started, plus any walk ups after that.

If it stays 1-0 or last goal scored by Rochdale I hope the Referee names Joshua as the scorer!!!! :cool:

You've got to be happy with that crowd, in context it's the lowest attendance we have had for any game at the Vic in 108 years of history. It definitely constitutes a boycott and helps ram home why this farce of a competition should never happen again. The crowds for this weeks round of games have been comical.

Only knew we were playing because of the goal app keeps telling me when a goal is scored. We lost 1-2 and I couldn't both care less or be happier if that makes sense!

Our previous lowest ever crowd was 655 in 1982 against Bradford according to Nick Loughlin.

Here it is, same competition it appears it was a group stage back then but the first three games of the season which is actually a better like an extension of pre season;

Assuming that no-one on here gives a toss about the result (except Dibble) what about the crowd?

According to the ever reliable ITMC, Pools' previous lowest attendance for a cup game was in the Football League trophy in 1982 - 655 against Bradford City in the Football League Trophy.

Surely that record will be smashed tomorrow night? Who's going to turn up to freeze their bits off for 90 minutes for a dead rubber in a discredited competition?

323 (300 £5 concessions)

And where d'you think Nick Loughlin gets his info? Same place as the rest of us!

Well the FA and Checkatrade have done themselves proud and broke numerous records with their modifications of this tournament. A tournament that smaller clubs previously only took seriously as they might actually have a chance of winning that has become no more than a farce no-one wants to be a part of.

Can't wait to see an empty Wembley to watch two U23 sides in the final to break yet another attendance low record.

PS we lost to a team with a 5 year old on the bench!

Fair play to Rochdale to this gesture. If you haven't seen it 5 year old Joshua McCormack was a substitute and is suffering from a terminal brain tumour.

Not sure how police can charge for football games. They are there to serve the public, if the public are at the game they've already been paid to be there.

The club I believe pay for the Police inside the ground, the number is decided by the Police.

All football clubs pay for the policing at their grounds.
