Sir Ron's knowledge about players and the game is probably a bit better than mine so whilst I'm not jumping with joy at Paynter's signing, I bow to Sir Ron's superior knowledge.

Connor smith is a winger, who can play up front. I'd reckon backup winger would be most likely role this season.

We got a lot of players who can play in different positions.
All part of Ronnies versatility management skills ( for a top 7 finish ) eh.

If Paynter gets 10 goals for us this season and creates another 10 and pisses off a lot of opposition defenders I think his job is done!
