This, you cannot be successful if your recruitment strategy is based on will you play for peanuts.

Furthermore, you cannot be successful when your Chief Executive (of the year) is picking the retained list.

It's like watching a close friend dying, whilst they do half of the family are blaming one thing and half of the family another. Some relatives don't think he's even ill, and some are at trying to revive him.........

If ior arent to blame for this mess then they weren't responsible for the good times either.
Right poolie?

How can anyone blame ior? Look at the quality signings they have made over the last three year or so. The forward thinking ideas that they have come up with e.g lets do our own retain lists without a manager in place. Having nearly a team full of different clubs players. Selling your best players as the transfer windows closed. Getting a million pound plus but then not being able to spend it. This is why we have the ceo of the year not many clubs can carry this of with the minimum of fuss. Then to top it all of when you want a massive crowd for the last day of the season put the prices back up. I don't know who's to blame the council the fans bob marley but its got nothing to do with ior.

The sad thing is a lot of supporters have only known good times in the last 17 years besides the last 2 seasons were they appointed cooper as manager was a massive mistake and as a club we have not recovered from this mistake how ever today we are playing away from home and we put out a team like that, its got we are going to get hammered written all over it.

Keep your eyes on Exeter's result today too. If they win they will be a point outside a play off place so no easy match against them and we absolutely have to beat them to have any chance of staying up.

Selling your top goal scorer on transfer deadline day and not replacing him didn't help, nor did fetching in an inexperienced manager, refusing to back him, then sacking him after 7 games.

Then of course when your latest manager should be using the January transfer window to bring in permanent signings, it doesn't help that you make it largely impossible for him to do so because you are embroiled in one of the most shambolic non takeovers in the history of football.

We are now in a situation where Moore is heavily reliant on a set of loan players, who as we have seen in the case of Bird and Bingham can be recalled on a whim, meaning you have to start all over again in trying to find an attacking partnership.

The likes of Duckworth, Woods, Fenwick, Featherstone, etc have all come in from non league clubs, and the numbers have been made up all season by more than a dozen lads borrowed from other clubs. The whole thing has been a shambles. Whatever happens over the next fortnight, the CEO has to take some of the responsibility for this.

You weren't one of those being wined and dined by Green in the Executive Boxes the other night were you ?

Please tell me tha last senrence is a joke and din really happen.

If stays like this 3 points from
Last 2 would probably see us safe. Can't see Tranmere getting 6 points it Cheltenham getting 4. Chelt made 2 first half subs too so maybe injuries?

Maybe the FA need to look at the owners of the 3 clubs

Could they be manufacturing a scenario where they take relegation, then trouser the parachute payment and F**k off, leaving the club in the shit?

If it stays like this then the other two have really thrown their chance away. This was the big day for both of them. Pools will win against a disinterested Carlisle and might even do it against Exeter. Amazing.

But it seems very slightly less shittier than tranmere or Cheltenham and very much more lucky. Look at the OG's and penalties in that 4 game run.
