Got 3 york tics today number 938/940 for the terrace not sure if they sold in numerical order like.

There is 300 seats so they could well be 1-300 and terracing could be 301 on wards.

Club said just over 800 sold yesterday so im guessing roughly 200 seats have gone already.

Lucikly our kid was a kind soul earlier in the week and grabbed me a ticket from the initial allocation. Ringing the ticket office and being greeted by a 'please try again later' message time and time again is fucking awful. I remember getting it endlessly trying to buy a season ticket one year and after about two hours of no answers I just rang reception and Kate sorted one for me. It's got to be worth the club employing a temp to man the phones for times like these surely?

Went in Wednesday dinner time for a ticket for my grandson for Saturdays game and there was one lad in front of me who after a bit of confusion got the second last tic.ket for York.....by then a queue had built up and another member of staff came in and asked who wanted York tickets...they all did except me.. and when she explained there'd be a new batch in tomorrow, they all left, leaving just me.The following conversation ensued.

Woman, 'there are no York tickets left'

Me, 'yeah I know, I bought four last week'

Woman, 'so what do you want..?'

Me, ' a ticket for .......Saturday'

Woman, ' not York...?'

Me, 'no, Saturday'

Woman, ' that's ok cos there's no York ones left'

The last time I was in there there was a queue of three and it took forever to buy two tickets ....the only ticket office where you need a shave wnen you get out.

When I was in the bloke in front of me was buying x amount of tickets and they asked his surname.. "Smith" he replied. Anyway surname must be the only search criteria on the Commodore 64 they use as she had to sit there and go up and down looking at all 200 Smiths who were on the system before eventually finding him 10 minutes later.

Surely they can search by address or date of birth??

The main reason I'm in favour of a supporters trust is that we could introduce regular hardware and software updates to the ticket office. I'd rather be able to pay by contact free payment on my phone than see us pick up our first trophy.
