I think Ronnie blew it with the team selection tonight. Walker, who is capable of scoring goals should have played instead of Featherstone who isn,t capable. Franks shouldn,t be in the side, total waste.

I'd defiantly saw we practice them; its a long time since we've seen a bit of creativity from our attacking players on corners like we do now. It's the taking them that's the problem and when we clearly see someone can't beat the first man, I don't understand why one of the players can't use a bit of common sense and manage the game on the pitch and use initiative and take them instead

Not sure Miller's on big money. We were just scraping the barrel in the summer.

I am sure he is delighted to miss the season with an injury. He doesn't get mentioned as he isn't on big money and was one of our better players when he was fit.

Don't worry we'll win on Saturday to renew hope again.....for a while. Woods' and Fenwicks' injuries have cooked our goose, the gods have contrived against us so I'm afraid we cannot get out of this shit this season.

He was first choice centre mid playing with the likes of Matt Crooks, Sam Collins, Brad Walker and Neil Austin. Hardly outlandish to suggest he was one of our better players not in same breath as Parnaby or Matty Bates.

If we win on Saturday though we will be lucky to be 6 points behind with 2 away games so inevitably 2 defeats to follow.

Spineless away from home and unfortunately I will say it will most likely be double figures from safety after the next 3 games. Turn the lights out on way out!

Absolutely soul destroying tonight. One of the worst games of football I've ever seen and that's saying something after the dross we've been served up this season.

Basic school boy stuff continues. Compton and Franks hit every first defender in every corner or free kick. We offered nothing in midfield or up front.

There is no chance in hell that this team can survive. Note the attendance again, sub 2000, bet Russ Green and Ken Hodcroft don't even batter an eyelid with the likes of Dagenham and Accrington not even needing to fully turn up to beat us on much less income.

Really knocked the stuffing out of me this one and now there are severe delays on the Jubilee line hampering my journey back.

Agreeing. Woeful game, dreadful ground - a taster for what is to come next season. Poor team performance and some abysmal individual showings. They were shite too, one deflected goal and one top drawer free kick. Other than that highlight was counting number of different bottles of squirty sauces at the scran hut - there were a total of 18 on one table and looked like the same on the other. Odd. Glad I went in the dark as it looked a shithole driving in and out.

Can't believe your owners let us have Charlie Wyke so easily. The guy is quality, outclassed all of the Shrewsbury players a few weeks back until they sucker punched us, and I reckon if you'd got him, and in turn we hadn't, we'd be below you by now. Might also interest you to know who got the assist for Wyke's goal tonight... the one and only Anthony Sweeney, who ran into the goal post to pull the ball back, worked his socks off all game and then got man of the match. Another one who i'm sure would have given you a bit more fight when you most need it.

Not nice seeing you floundering like you are when there are some genuine conference sized teams in this league. But crowd size, league history etc aren't accounted for when you have terrible owners. Carlisle have learned that the hard way almost as much as you have. Just a few key decisions made by them which have affected us massively as well - letting Sweeney go, letting us get Wyke when you should have been in pole position having had him on loan - could have kept you up imo.

Good luck for the rest of the season (apart from the last game) Hope to see you back in the league ASAP, and not only because you're one of our few reasonable away journeys...

Agree about Wyke but Sweeney was woeful, it was time for him to go.
