Does an occasionally decent cross equate to a good player?

Cool, there's hope for me yet.

Are you serious? If ever anybody least deserves to be a professional footballer its him.

Another one of Colin Coopers old pals acts which has led to us being rock bottom of the football league.

I'd drive him back to Wales right now if it meant he never graces the Vic again.

Or his constant, petulant and diva esque behaviour?

Didn't take Ronnie Moore long to suss out he's a waster.

Jack has acted like a tit but it have no time for 'fans' who try and justify having a go at him or his missus via Twitter. Too easy to have a go from behind a keyboard. Why have a go in the first place? I guess someone might say he started it... Are we at school?!
(I don't know who has said what, so genuinely this isn't a dig at anyone in particular).

Thing is, when he finally gets binned he's bound to come back and torture our new phoenix club whilst playing for Penzance and Penrith Albion in the North East Southern Combination (West Division). . .the twat!

He has been in trouble at previous clubs on Twitter so there is a pattern. He won't be a pro player much longer anyway. Good riddance.

I was referring to a spat around the beginning of the year which, if I remember rightly, started when Jack had a day out with his missus and kids and someone took exception to the fact he was homesick. I don't know any of the individuals involved but I hadn't intended pointing any fingers anyway.
The only general point I was trying to make is that I don't consider either side (Jack or the trolls) to have any moral high ground. Nobody comes out of it well, in my opinion. Other fans might see justification but I prefer to live and let live.

Which incident are you referring to as he's had a few on there

Personally I wasn't happy when he tweeted "had a lovely weekend" after we had lost 3-0 that weekend. I don't think a professional should be stating how good his weekend was after a heavy loss. In my opinion those statements should be kept to himself. Pointing this out to him resulted in him calling me a bellend, a moron and an idiot. No insults came from me apart from "no wonder he fans have turned on you"

There lass then "had a go" at me and I attempted to explain to her that he's a professional and should start acting like one. She then bizarrely compared pools to hairdressing

He's keeping quiet now although for some reason he has favourited a tweet I sent yesterday saying we should bin him off and that he's a spoilt brat.

Definitely one for the funny farm I reckon.

So now you're admitting that he does wind us fans up, what type of professional footballer winds the fans up of the club that employs him? No-one starts on him for no reason, he should spend less time on Twitter and more time putting in the hours on the training field.

This lad is so thick and immature he's almost funny.

One things for sure he's been fortunate to employed in football into his mid twenties because he wouldn't be able to function in the real World like an adult. You might have though reports of a move falling through because of his attitude might have made him have a look at himself, nah he's way too dumb for that.

He needs to stop carping on social media. Cod help him if he ever combs across Birthmark after this latest twitter outburst.

He'd get the hairdryer treatment and he'd smack him round his head and shoulders.

I have always wondered if he goes on like that with the other players. If he does I would have him training on his own. We need to believe we can stay up and anyone bringing the lads down needs separating.

It is a shame because on his day he is a good footballer but he lets his childish side out too much

I stand by this though, I think he is a genuinely talented footballer I reckon if he wasn't so fragile he'd by playing at a high level. Technically he is good and I've rarely seen a player at Pools player who can beat a man on either side with as much ease. It boils down to the thing you've heard time and again about sport ability is not the most important attribute once you get to a certain level. Compton will never be a good professional footballer sadly.

The assists he provided at Exeter 18 months ago show he's got vision and talent. Such a shame he can't harness it regularly. As said above, so often the difference is mental rather than physical or raw ability. How many times have we seen that in the past?

So to clarify he was made to train with the youth team and in response he changed his profile from a pools shirt to a Pompey one.

Behave yourselves! He's a kid, nothing more. A kid who plays football and has found himself in the public eye.

Hands up who hasn't posted something on here that they later thought better of?
Hands up who was oh so mature at his age?

A kid he's 26.

He's a 'professional' footballer in the public eye. Hands up how many on here are aswell. I'm guessing not many, if any at all.

At the age of 26 you should know what not to do and after blowing his Pompey career over comments made on Twitter you would think he would have learned his lesson.

There is no chance he will be on the team or in the squad today, would you play someone displaying support for the opposition.
He should be docked his weeks wages for ruling himself out of the game.

He had a go at the team on Twitter today during the match, the comment has since been deleted.

Yeah he put about having no shots at goal. I said that he really doesn't do himself any favours and then he blocked me...

b. He isn,t a very good footballer either

He will be stacking shelves in Asda in a few years

For every Jack Baldwin there are seemingly 3 or 4 Jack Compton's in professional football. Is it any wonder people have little respect or anything in common with the people in this profession anymore?
