I bet for every Darlo Pete And Loan Ranger there are ten others with a semi on at the thought of our potential demise.
Fair play to those too like; if you have pretensions of being rivals you need to do it properly.

No doubt Monty but the long view is that Pools and Darlo need each other like a clitoris needs friction.

I am staggered at what I have read on this thread.

its clear there are some pools fans who value their friendship with club officials higher than the future of the club.

utterly bizarre comments.

To be fair the puddle at the corner flag end of the Milhouse did resemble a decent sized loch. Shouldn't the council sort that area out? What do the club actually pay rent for?

That's what the likes of bresslaw should be asking themselves.

What's more important pools or being bessys with russ?

The Millhousemafia has decided that katcha's persona is no more. Hence a new account, and yes using the same IP address. And yes, of course I am too old for all of this. Aren't we all?

The Millhousemafia is not a messenger of Russ (or anyone at the club), never has been, never will be.

The Millhousemafia reiterate Conciliatory was the word of yesterday. The Millhousemafia has sought answers from elsewhere. Didn't get an official answer, but understands now why an announcement has not been made either way at the moment. Whether or not either decision is good for the club only time will tell. Omerta prevents me from saying anything further.

The millhousemafia doesnt think. He just brings messages from certain individuals at the club, individuals that seem to talk to a few trusted "friends", but as usual, leave the majority of its customers in the dark.

But manages to spin enough bullshit to convince a good number.

A number dwindling with every fuckup.

and all because so called intelligent officials at the club dont have the sense to engage with the fans, or worse, just refuse to.

Yet there are still "fans" around defending them.

Its remarkable.

Yubep thinks so.

Yubep likes action thread.

The authority that deals with yubeps posts also enjoys engagements on forums which help identify the club men.

It's attitudes like Russ' mates that could see the club go to the wall 'all for one and fuck the rest' thankfully we have fans willing to act in the best interests of the club and not themselves if it came to the crunch

Sigh.

I'm not linked to anyone at 'the club': all I wanted to do was be positive and, hopefully make a contribution towards the setting up/ funding of a supporters trust or similar......

Just got home after a meeting with one of the external advisors to our friends down the A66 - warned me off - and then I read this chain. :angry-screaming:

Can we just stop sniping? The 'third person' messages can just be ignored. :naughty:

I thought (hoped) that this thread was going to lead somewhere on Sunday - since then the only place this is going is the playground.

Hands up if you want to really help?

By "help" do you mean helping from behind our keyboards or are you actually suggesting leaving the house and contributing in real life? Therein lies the problem. *slowly raises hand*

Fair point Pirlo

My hand is up.

I really want to do something tangible

Do you? I guess so.

So, any chance of Corner Flag or someone with a pub hosting a 'dry/ behaved' meeting.

Thursday night? Surely by then we'll know who to believe......

I'd suggest a little more notice for people, if you want a date lots of pools fans will already be coming together, then why not have a get together on the night of the Northampton game?

I think generally we were at that point where most were happy to carry on. There is nothing wrong. New players have come in, so in Ronnie we trust.

Ken and Russ will save us, and those suggesting administration are idiots.

Pirlo - you are re-arranging the deckchairs - time is against us.

Chip - sorry - ditto, Stevenage is too late.

For me the big point is that this thread went quiet/ was ignored from Sunday! Are folk more interested in sniping rather than actually doing something? Chip - you were right and few doubted you, but, frankly, nothing tangible has happened. So, I put my hand up (Pirlo has flapped his limp wrist), so who else.....Hands up?

Time for action? Not from keyboards......

Millhouse - tomorrow early doors - as a starter? If folk are serious they will make an effort - or will PM to confirm support. Then we could move forwards? Mtg with lawyers and the Corner Flag re existing arrangements? Chat with Ken re how he would accommodate/ support a fans acquisition? Etc.

And again, I'm no friend of Ken - I just buy and sell businesses for a living - so I know - don't p*ss off your target!

I wish you would all stop sniping. Have you not even the remotest inkling that the upshot of all this is that more and more people will be deciding that they don't wish to belong to a Club of which you are members?

Is it not possible for the worst offenders simply to shut up occasionally? As it is, I for one have no intention of attending any meeting where the usual suspects are probably going to turn up and simply reiterate their grubby little accusations and snide comments about other posters.

Drooling- LOL. I just found it quite ironic when you had that photo of yourself as your profile pic, then said the people on The Bunker think they are something special. 413 posts on a forum you hate is pretty good going though yeah ?

At the end of the day I want whats best for the club. I can give people some insight into whats happening, I cant make them believe it. If people think everything is all fine and dandy now, then again thats their prerogative. I believe IOR will stick around till the end of May then review their position. If they go what happens then ?

I'm not setting myself up as a leader of anything or a spokesperson for anything, there are much better qualified people for me to carry out those roles. Im happy to attend a meeting where people can discuss what the options are, and whether we could step in and keep the club going while a new owner is found. Hopefully it wont come to that.

If you want to join in and have a grown up conversation about what we can do collectively as fans then get yourself along. It has to be better than just sitting there taking cheap pot shots at people you dont even know.

So should I have a photo of someone else as my profile picture then? That is a little bit creepy to be fair. No one is saying all is fine and dandy to me they are saying there is no major concern. You say IOR will be selling at the end of May. What evidence do you have of that? What if they don't want to go at the end of May? I have no evidence of that it's speculation on my point.

As for the pot shots at people I don't know. The pot shots started when John McQue Decided to have a go on Facebook. That wasn't started by anyone but him. I thought it was you due to reading more or less word for word in one of your posts what was posted in his I think drunken rant as it was taken down the next day. If this was not you then I apologise but I don't take back what was said to John in my reply. I then come on the bunker seeing comments about my picture on fb from yourself and Dibbles Gloves. Then you go on in this post to say 'have a grown up conversation' and remarks about people you don't know. You accused me of doing it but you need to be aware of your posts towards me. Practice what you preach. I am not unreasonable but I do stand up for myself and don't appreciate people trying to belittle me or speak down to me. There is also another post on here tonight calling people on the fb site morons. If people have a different opinion to yourself they are not morons.

The time for protests is long gone and won't achieve anything ,read their long statement tonight however time for some action is now or never regarding how a supporters trust works and how do you get one started , waiting for a majority to work it out wont happen , get a like minded minority together and bring everyone in as it goes along, I will throw my hat into the ring and so will the Millhouse any accountants , solicitors among us ? Lets get this moving , and see if its realistic or not ? The Millhouse is available almost anytime

Good one Nobby

I am an accountant - I won't say more because I can't be arsed with the shitstorm that might follow.

I buy and sell businesses and have been involved in the administration of three football clubs...

Any lawyers out there?

Nobby, I'll meet with you, and any other interested parties (ideally involving the SA) anytime tomorrow - time is ticking on....

And anyone can PM me!
