A few threats and his dummy has been spat right out and looks to sell up. I hope he is left out of pocket and investigated for fraud. A full clear out is needed from top to bottom, let a new manager bring his own staff and players. No players/staff should be forced on to a new manager.

Thing is your mate Russ is going to be involved so we could still have assistants etc forced on managers.

Of course it's not invevitable. We are only six points adrift with loads of games left. This is not a good League and with an experienced manager and the right players we can do what Northampton did last year.

I cant wait to never hear of FFP ever again.

Hopefully a chairman that can engage with the club. Not treat the fans like shit and talk to us like rubbish.

Thank you for the early years IOR, but good riddance.

I really hope you're right pj! Can't be blamed for a little but of pessimism on the playing side of things, I just hope today is the catalyst and everything starts looking up on and off the pitch

The debt was to themselves, I'd imagine it's been written off. I very much doubt a new owner would come in with that hanging around.

The "debt" was owed to IOR as far as I'm aware. The word on the street is they are happy to write it off just to get out

You could take the opportunity to pop down with a loud speaker and shout : Come in Number 7, your time is up.

I'm surprised you haven't thought of that, Mutley

That's Billy Horner's car, perhaps Ronnie Moore isn't as certain as we all thought...

I'm not the only one to think it can't be that easy?! If IOR are off, they'll want as much money back as poss surely? While its potentially good news, its worrying times for the club. Can't imagine they'll go quietly.
How good would it be to get back to supporting the team though, without the spectre of protests and abuse. I might be able to take my young daughter again!

Seen too many "takeovers" in football where the new owners are out to swindle the club so watching all this with caution. Hopefully at least one familiar name is involved (Turner for example) as I can't see him wanting to put the club out of business.

If thats true, I would actually give some credit to Ken for a change. He could easily make it difficult though. Everyone be nice and thank him for his efforts... someone delete all those nasty comments quick!

Sounds like great news on the surface but a few open questions

Are IOR really out ? Interesting to see what happens with the debt and what if any link the new team has to the old team
Hopefully the media apply some intellectual curiosity to the new guy, and not just blindly hail him as a savior
Trust, be grateful but verify should be the approach IMO

Hopefully the club put a £5 ticket offer on for the two games over xmas.
Get the fans on board straight away.

We need to get the VIC rocking.

If this happens the next game will be a sellout regardless of cost. Can see some very big crowds in the coming games to get behind the team and sort this mess out. Whlist ior have us the crowds will stay the same or dwindle

Ticket prices dont bother me. If they want fans on their side then a simple fans meeting with the new owners and some proper honest answers about what the future holds for our club is all we would need.

And seeing how I presume Russ is involved with this and we know they read this board then they knows it too.

£10 a ticket will get the floaters back. We saw how a good crowd could help last season.. (Let's face it hardly anyone pays at the gate ATM.. )
