Well I have gone back 6 pages of my posts and I can confirm the following:

1. I can only find one post critisising Pools team.
2. I moan about everything, incl but not limited to:
a. Manure
b. Cricket
c. The Academy
d. Gays in Football
e. You moisturising poofters
f. Sussex
g. Sam Allerdyce
h. The Tories
i. People critisising Matthew Le Tissier
J. More Cricket
K. Sunday dinners
L. Sunday league postponements
m. Cricket again.
n. Hartlepool town itself.
o. The council

There, I think that just about clears this up.

I am tired now. All this moaning.

Wow, at what age do you think kids these days are taught to stay on your feet?

I would say about 6.

Maybe you know better.

And this isnt just about Richards, as it happens every week all over the country. Some players, and fans it seems, never learn.

D team eh?

I didnt actually know you could play at such a low level.

Dribble showing 'em how its done!

football is best played using the organ between the ears .... hearts on sleeves equal early baths.
Players need to be focussed, and adrenalin or not, that is the last time he can do it, cos he would be classed as a liablity

He has good energy and making a good strong tackle is what we want him to do, but he has to time it and use his brain as to when he needs to get a foot in

Good defending - a lot of the time - consists of not committing yourself to a challenge, and forcing the opponent to make a decision whether to try and go past you or have to stop and look for a man

Chris Westwood was outstanding at doing this... opposition either gave us the ball back or ran out of room to play because he was so good at concentrating on closing down the space for the opponent to play, his positional sense was excellent....... and this led to us regaining loads of possession through getting us goal kicks or forcing a mistake, without even having to make a tackle.

MacPhail was even better at this

Diving in and missing is just as bad cos the man with the ball is away up the field while you are laid on the floor

Yep
Ashley cole is an example of someone whose positional play is class, even at his age now he o my struggles when isolated further up field but in general it's his reading of the game which has made him last so long

Just a thought, but if an opposition player had performed a similar offence at the Vic, would it be cheerfully dismissed as an adrenalin rush from a young player...?
It was a bad tackle, he deserved to sent off and let's hope he learns from it.
