We`ve got Coventry away on Tuesday in the FA Cup so do excuse me if I say there`s more important things to think about than non-league tiddlers coming on here and trying to justify their pathetic, barely breathing existance.

Much better performance than the last match I saw at at Newport. We were a bit at sea in the first half and it looked as if the players weren't at all familiar with the system. Cock up for the first goal and a well taken second. No-one understood what the linesman saw to deny a goal just before half time. The ref gave it and then ruled it out for the linesman's flag. In a game that was always a bit physical with shirt pulling and easing players off the ball the norm there seemed nothing wrong with the goal. Holden had a poor half and wasted a number of chances to cross the ball. He needs to learn a little more patience when he can't get past the full back. Sweeney and Walton were poor and we conceded the midfield. Monkhouse lead the threat with Franks always looking lively.

Second half we were dominant and Franks scored from a Flinders clearance and a shot from the edge of the box. We could have gone on to win it. Overall a good effort playing a different system. I am a bit concerned that we can get out muscled, particularly in midfield. On balance it was a fair point. Still work to be done to get a stronger central midfield. Dolan was the only positive there. Franks was man of the match - two goals and always involved and up for the battle. Duckworth was surprisingly quiet in this line up. Baldwin was once again the stand out defender.

Sussex...you have more to worry about than us.....

Note the words....If funds can be found and more to point this paragraph

Martin Jesper, chief executive of the football club, admitted that the club’s finances are “extremely stretched” and that without a “huge” fundraising effort by fans the agreement may not come off.

It looks like Darlington bucket rattling again 2014 this time

They will be ok, I mean look at there assets....

League existence for nearly 100 years
3500 fans turning up every week
Players getting watched every week
Players that are worth £1 million
Great young management who are clued up
Fa cup football to look forward to......

Oh hang on that's us, my apologies...

Well at least they have .....

A nice big ground
A rich chairmen
Football league games
A few thousand fans
Fa cup games.....

Oh hang on that's all in the past

They now have

No ground
Less than 1000 fans
No good players
No fa cup
Non league football 1 level above northern league

Its so nice to be a pools fan

I think that comment highlights your level of retardation as Darlington Naff Co 54 DID run out of money last year so if that person had told me that he would have been quite correct.

clappp

Try going on any other clubs message board and do post after post looking to irritate and see how long you last.

Now of course I realise Pools fans are way above such a pointless waste of time but sadly Sussex has very little of a life, his number of posts on a club he hates tells you that
