We've already had one of our lads signed by Bishop Auckland, and we've got a 16 year old that got bags of potential.

That player who signed for bishop Auckland called Harrison isn't he? Also if I've been told right the 16 year old you mentioned is a new signing who plays up front? If so believe if information passed on is correct, that he had a spell at pools

All of this info passed on by your keeper, who happens to be my brother

At least you'll get a game on a decent pitch. We're at the rec this weekend are they any better up that way?

No...

Our pitch last night was a disgrace, the grass was 4 inches long in some parts

Has the council had its mowers stolen?

i hate to moan non stop but its hard not too with the state of the pitches at the moment, even if the grass was cut, the dead grass is left on top thus creating a new dead grass related problem.

And greyfields hasnt had warm water in the showers in month.

What are we actually paying our fees for? For the council to not cut pitches, and just mind our stuff for an hour.

Roy Allen signed for them as well, he should get a bagful looking at scores from the first few games.

Pot house is our next game on the 1st September, we'll have a full team back by then including new signing Dylan Russell who banged in 30+ goals 2 seasons ago in Div 2.

I was trying to sign Micky's son in pre-season but Micky turned up to one of our training sessions instead!

To whip the ball in with such pace and precision as I did on that grass took unbelievable technical ability.

Should be an interesting season on division 2 I imagine a few teams in the league fancy themselves for the title. A few good teams in the league.

It'll certainly be a high scoring division, already seen a 7-7 and 11- 8 this season on pitch next to us, I'm guessing both games involved Yupeb team as think its Rafa on there. Suggests the defending may need a bit of work.

the 7-7 was us the 11-8 was joe macs.

the 7-7 was our first game n we had about 7 teenagers making their debut, since then i've moved to centre back, we got a clean sheet last night n conceded 2 the week before, i'm not saying i've made the difference... but i have.

our main keeper returns this weekend and a few others from holiday so we'll only get stronger

as kitch says, very open league this year i reckon

We are going to be getting good players back within a few weeks and should have a strong squad. Still hoping to get something out of this season. It's a make or break season for us.

Aye I thought Andy wasn't usually a keeper. Not as if we came close to testing him last night like.

Toughest league to get out unless you come in with prem players who couldn't stand losing a few the season or two before!

Anyone know which pitch Seaton 2 is?

We got a bye in the county cup and play the Pot house in the league but looks like all rec/gray pitches have been taken so we've been shot over Seaton.

Lost 3-1 up at blackball.

Only team in the town to have 3 keepers registered and not one available today!

We beat Tech 4 - 1.
Decent result against the Dragon, Yubep, played a couple of friendlies the last few seasons against them and they are a decent side. Plus they had someone asking on non league zone what Rafa are like and they were told as long as they werent shit they'd torture you. Just a shame you didnt finish the job and prove them wrong.

We drew a team in Sunderland in the next round of the county cup so nice trip away... Looking at fixtures though, we have 3 home games in September which is a nightmare in terms of club income! Right before the pitch fees are due as well!

Yep same here, could have really done with some more away games and not a home draw in the CC.

Aye same bunch of lads really. Few new faces since we've gone up.

Looking forward to it, the lad for George and dragon was full of praise for your lads last Sunday.

We're sporting a fetching green tops and black shorts number these days.
