There's usually a few good ales on at The Jacksons Arms - always pop in there when i'm on a night out.

RE Strongarm, noone drinks it because it's not on sale in a lot of the pubs around town. In fact, i'm struggling to think of anywhere that sells it that isn't a working mens club.

Doesnt the Causeway sell it?

I think the Causeway sells it.

I've only had Strongarm in the Brewery it was a cracking drink but I'm not a huge beer fan.

I've now got the urge to wear sandals and socks, grow a beard and wear glasses and a hat... and talk in a posh voice about philosophy and stuff

Right, I'm ready and I'm off to the Rat Race

I would recommend going on the train from leeds to huddersfield (i think). Me and mates did it and every stop has a real ale pub either on platform or about 2 minutes walk from it. Brilliant day however the people from work on train didnt really like 5 pissed up Poolies singing angel eyes by wet wet wet at the top of our voices going to next stop.
