Hardly boo's of derision echoing around the ground was it. It was barely audible where i was in the Mill House. What a melodramatic thread this is.

Not really, it's only a thread, it's not like a massive issue is being made of it. It happened people in the ground who are meant to be supporting Pools did it, nobody is suggesting it was a lot of people a question was asked, why would you do it? That's all.

I could raise another about Pools fans, why do so many leave early? Even a game like Saturday which could have gone either way until the last kick saws hundreds leaving with five minutes left, the Notts County game which were cruising in saw I'd say a couple of thousand gone by the whistle. What's that all about? it's something I have never ever understood!? It's not as if the Vic is a hard ground to get away from how important is five minutes on Saturday tea time!? Is that 'melodramatic' or raising a point?

I've been to York quite a few times watching pools and have always found it lacked atmosphere at the games, strange considering it is so close to us.
Mind you ive always come away pissed off we got beat.
Nice city tho & nice fans.

And if I had a tenner for every dour, boring, zero atmosphere game Ive watched at York I'd have exactly 70 quid.
I'll let you do the math on how many times I've been

On the original point - booing Sam Collins is out of order - he has been a great player for Pools and I believe he always trys his best. The motm choice was a strange one though. I don't think a bit of criticism from the terraces is always counter productive though... It sometimes improves things.

Ian Clark got stick for a month or two after his first couple of games probably because he missed a few sitters, started badly and stood out a bit did it ruin him ...? No he tried his best week after week and won fans round and turned into a bit of a favourite. Steve Howard got stick and rightly so - at one point he was about 2 clem overweight and didn't look arsed. After the grief he responded to the boo boys by getting into decent shape, visibly showing more effort and he had a cracking few months before he was sold.

Colin Nish had one of best games for Pools and showed loads more effort when the crowd gave him a fair bit of stick - it sturred him up and he seemed to want to prove people wrong.

On Saturday Adam Boyd rightly got grief for his lack of effort at one point - he probably covered about 20 yards in the same amount of time that Sweeney covered about 50 yards when we were attacking and got no where near the box leaving Sweeney little option but to force a corner. It's not good enough - he deserved the abuse or do people just shut up and accept it...? Hopefully he will respond to the abuse by showing more effort - not much to ask is it?

It's not but it won't happen. We've been here far too many times with Boydy and I no longer care about him.

At a guess I'd say 4.

Sam had a pretty good game on Saturday. MK Dons had a big brute of a centre forward and Sam came up against him in the air and shoulder to shoulder quite a lot and he won alot of the battles. Young Baldwin is looking good but would have been bounced over the old police ststion by that fella's shoulder.
You need a big strong player at the back and we had 1 on Saturday who played well. MOM debatable but played well.

Fook me. You'd critically analyse the foot long hot dogs if someone posted about them, you really would.

Far too big, I'd be interested to see the profit margin on them. The buns could be softer as well.
