I got Brandy and Counago, both of them are very good players. I play a 4-4-2 diamond with Sweeney just behind the front 2.

Holden at left back is a great player too.

after my epic start i went on to lose 10 in a row in the league. Sam Collins wasn't happy with my team meeting so i sold him, Gary Liddle wasn't happy with me selling the captain, so i hold him. Results have picked up and i've now won 3 out of the last 4.

I see Chris Turner has found a job with the people who make football manager, Gary Liddle's primary position is a centre back...

i spend plenty of time outside, i have plenty of nights out.

But on the occasions when i am indoors, and the kids are in bed, nowts on tele, i like to have a game of fm and relax, it helps me unwind.

Not harming anyone is it?

Each to their own mate. Personally, when it's quiet in our house and the kids are all out running up the ASBO count, I like to spend time with the wife, watching telly and relaxing together watching shite. I'm now an expert on Coronation Street and the other one that's full of faggots, Eastbenders. (oops, might upset the pc brigade with that one!)
I'm not a fan of video games, I've seen first hand how much they can dominate a person's life to the point where they get irritable and pissed off when they're not playing them. I've also seen grown men in their thirties and forties creaming their pants after they've been locked away in a room all night until the early hours playing some army games online against their mates. Must be fun for their wives, girlfriends and kids!

I have been on the other side of that coin, my ex used to love the x-box to the point were I would travel from here to Oxford for the weekend and she didnt want to go out on the Firday night as she had a "clan match" to play on Call of duty. Was very annoying and partly caused a lot of arguments and breakdown of us being together.

and dont want to play up to sterotypes or be xenophobic here but I put this down to her being japanese.

Needless to say she is brilliant at them and yet to find a bloke than can beat her at COD, gears of war etc. I dont really know these games as all I ever play is FIFA if anything.

Ok yubep, point taken. Just hope you're not knocking one out when you're playing FM, that would be disturbing

The worst feature on all the FM games is when it tells you how many hours you have been playing on that game....

I genuinely cant play FM anymore because I am genuinely, seriously stupidly addicted it.As in skiving off work to play it, not playing with me kids for weeks, staying up till three in the morning...snapped the last disc.

On the plus side I won the Premiership with Blackpool, and the World Cup with England.

I wouldn't say I was addicted yet, I don't crave to play on it at all times it's just when I start playing, I rarely stop.

You know when your addicted when its 11pm, your in January on your season but you reckon you can finish the season before you go to bed just so you can see next seasons transfer budget! Had this many of times... at least 3am

Ooh I love this thread. Sign Fergus Bell if you start in non-league and play him as a poacher. Scored 56 in 41 in Stalybridge's promotion season.

Mate of mine played as Arsenal with the new update, and his scouts advice was that Luke James had the potential to be as good as Robin Van Persie!!

Im into my 3rd season with Pools... Promoted 1st season, finished 8th in 2nd season and now just about to go into 3rd season with the expectation of getting promoted. Im still on the first update so Luke James isnt a wonderkid but he's still in my squad!
