Worst town/city you've been to in the UK?

I take it nobody has been to Blauneu Ffestiniog in Wales then, rains every day and full of old slag heaps, dogs walk round in 2s and even the charity shops have a security guard!

Bootle is a lovely place to drive through quickly!!

I once spent three weeks plodding round the mountains around Ffestiniog and I swear it rained every hour.

You have got to be joking mate. I went to Stirling Uni, and you'd be hard pushed to find a more picturesque location in the world! Some of the outskirts which run towards Falkirk are a bit run-down, but fook me, Bridge of Allan, Dunblane etc is bloody gorgeous. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs are on your doorstep, and it's as green as a farking billiards table.

Am fully concurring. Stayed in Callender few years back whole area including Stirling quite beautiful.
