The point is though that I've been reading about the middle east conflict since I was delivering the Daily Mirror in the late fifties. (and the footy mail as it happens)

At the same time I was bringing pictures of African kids home from school to take a tanner back so the school could adopt them to improve their life.

All this on the back of promises from world leaders that they and only they have the answers.

After a lifetime of promises you get a bit of conflict crisis exhaustion.

So the real preeners and sneerers are all in Sham el Sheik right now.

Well, blame whoever brought up Israel and Palestine in the first place ?

I was only informing those who were talking about the conflict that a ceasefire had been declared.

It was the conflict itself that produced many, long threads such as this.
