I think at least the timing has been better than when we got rid of Scott - gives us a bit of time, and maybe the club will be prepared to give a little more cash to a new manager in January, rather than let Wilson carry on with no budget in January & get rid of him in February.

Lets give Turner a chance and see how we go.

It can't be financial sacking him costs exactly the same as keeping him!

Him not been given anything to spend may have had bot all to do with the 'credit crunch' maybe it was born from a lack of trust at what he'd spend it on as last season they were on whole, pap. Maybe they thought he'd get sickened off and walk, but it has become clear that he wasn't going to walk so they've bulleted him.

Just a theory based on not much but possible?

I like your theory Mr PJ.

And reading Wilson in tonight's Mail I really don't think that he saw the sack coming or had any intention of quitting.

Not sure how much good its going to do with wilson going, any new manager coming in would have to do soemthing special to make a significant difference to whats already there. The way the agm was worded there won't be any monies to spend on players violin

I would like more information from the club with regards to many topics.

But at the end of the day they are a business who own a football club.

I use Tesco do I expect them to tell me why they sack someone in the Hartlepool Tesco.

No. So why expect it simply because we pay through the turnstyles.

Do you go to Tescol and shout obseneties at their staff because you buy your shooping from there like??? No thought not.
Its different mate, you cant compare a football club to Tesco...

I dont shout obsceneties at any one contacted with Pools, either.

Referee and linesmen maybe, May say something about a pass being useless a player having an off day but not obsceneties, no one goes on the pitch to play badly.

And Im happy with what IOR have done for us since they took over so I not shouted any obsceneties at them either.

I would like more information on playing budgets, etc but not on something like a sacking.

It's around on all the reports that he's been sacked, not left for another club or owt like that.

On the positive side doesn't that show that the club has more ambition than hovering in mid table scratching draws with lower placed opposition and getting a bit too close to the risk of relegation.

This may be the start of a new era.

there could be a million and one reasons for it, and we will probably never know, lets just hope that they choose the right person for the job, a motivator with a bit of tactical nous

The last time we got relegated Hodcroft held his hands up and took the blame and then said he wouldn't let it happen again, maybe he felt things started to look like repeating themselves so he took the action he promised he would.

Why do you all think something has been going on behind the scenes? We havent won in god knows how many games, we failed to win in the last 2 games agaianst 2 of the worst sides in the league, he doesnt inspire the players, were drifting towards relegation, he has signed one of the worst players in our history on one of the highest wages in our history, he cant see the problem areas or rectify them, constantly plays players out of position.......

He was shite and there was only one way we were going and thats down. IOR have done this at the right time so well played Uncle Ken. Now just bring in someoen with passion and an ounce of knowledge and we will be fine.
