Hopefully they will all be offered longer deals, before that option runs out otherwise we may find ourselves in major problems come end of the 2008/09 season as we will need to find far to many replacements for the following season.

Yet another reason to purchase season tickets to enable the club to offer the players mentioned further contracts to ensure we have a settled nucleus of a side.

I think Brown is the only one likely to go for big money. The rest should be offered deals according to how they fit into the overall scheme of things.

I think he did almost say what you have said (apart from the nonsense about not meaning it). He said they'll spend the money if the player is right and it's an area that needs strengthening. They've never thought the solution to a problem was throwing hundreds of thousands of pounds at it.

I tell you what I like about IOR, they don't make lavish predictions about getting to the Championship in x years like some owners, they do have the ambition to get to that level eventually though. The way they want to do that is with stability and steady improvement.

I'm all for that.

As has already been said Foley and Robson will be on peanuts, if we can replace the released players with 4-5 players who are good enough to play in league one next season we will have a much stronger squad than we did this season when at times it was exposed as threadbare especially after we lost Moore and Barker and Brown were injured.

What the fuck do you mean "what is the problem"??? The probolem is fuckin evident that we were utter utter tripe last season and it looks like very little is to change. At least 5 players in our first team are no better than whats on the rec yet get contracts. We have a manager devoid of any idea what he is doing and I for one will not be buying a season ticket next season. No money to spend and same squad and same useless fat 'lovely lovely person' of a manager? No fucking thanks.
