Steady on Mutters - you'll blow a gasket!
Just intrigued as to why anybody would persistently take P&B's posts seriously, giving him the attention he clearly craves.

I think because of the situation the club finds it self in That posts like those of P&B are an insult to every one of us that actually cares.
Not my decision but i think P&B should be banned/ IP address.

This utter arse has form. P&B did exactly the same during the last takeover under the guise of Shaggy. I’ve executed him anyway, clearly a twat attempting to spread alarm.

By the way, judging by his incessant copying and pasting to facebook, I’m also of the view it’s Gavin John. Exactly the same twattish behaviour.

To be honest, I’ve posted on this forum for a few months now so haven’t read what everyone else has over a longer period. Its become obvious over the last couple of days that you’ve all been exposed to a fair bit of nonsense from P&B for much longer. I picked up on one of his posts because I’d heard something pretty similar but since then, yeah, he’s been scattergun.
Must admit, pretty gutted anyone would get us confused but lesson learnt by me! Hope that helps.

I do stand by my other point though, that others post unsubstantiated rumours as fact with zero qualification or question. That’s equally unhelpful given our current situation.

Seriously?
It’s just human nature and has been part of the life of supporting your football club that rumours abound.
It’s natural that folk seize at rumours in a vacuum of news from those in transient passing owners in power….the supporter has a lifetime bond, they care.
Are you seriously expecting this not to happen when the people who really matter, are kept in the dark…?
I don’t see how it could make any situation worse and could be easily terminated by those in charge being open with the fans as much as they can without affecting any discussions over the clubs future.
I am assuming nothing’s happening with this silence…..there is a duty to the fans without whom the whole pack of cards that is a football club collapses….but they are the one group who get little or no respect.

Supposing you were gonna come on the board posing as three different posters, you’d try to make their characteristics as different as possible …one a gobshite, one rather pleasant and one just very uninteresting as a random example, wouldn’t all have the same look and sound, otherwise what’s the point.

In fact you’ve only been talking to me on here for the past five years as everyone else is one of my aliases…..

It is totally irrelevant. Until the moment a deal is signed, sealed and delivered then it is business as usual.

That applies to all businesses, not just Pools. I know a bloke who was halfway through a job interview at Siemens when they announced the plant was closing.

Such is the way of the world...

So, fellow mushrooms we head into the 9th week of stony silence from the Vic, only occasionally punctured by mundane announcements that mean little or nothing to the majority of us. FFS they aren't even covering us with shit anymore.

I suspect that several of the true hardcore may be encountering mental health issues by now. As we all know, Pools are no strangers to setting and holding onto unwanted records. This could well set a record for the longest duration of lack of meaningful communication between a professional English football club and it's loyal supporters.

The kids (you know, young people) like to 'manifest' things happening, like manifesting getting a job or manifesting having enough money for a holiday. It's not a great strategy for life but to be honest it feels like all we've got at the moment, so I'm going bold and manifesting a takeover being announced this week. Thursday or Friday. Hope everyone feels better now?! :-o

I feel that now the time has come to say enough is enough and lets get the takeover done. Time to say thankyou to Raj for saving the club and say good bye. Lets just hope the new regime are more open to their customers (the fans) and get all the factions within the club to stop the infighting and pull together for the good of the club. We must also sever all connections with Raj and any of his people within the club and start afresh.

Conundrum developing IMO.

For potential new owners that's if they exist.

Given the contract situations so called better players will leave.

Do they take this on with long term debts most likely producing a relegation team to div 6.

Or hang back n start after A without debt in a lower division.

Reminder applications to be a member of the national league expire in 2 weeks.

Thats basically it in a nutshell.

Other remedys/cures are available maybe.

In maritime terms, as is my want…
We are adrift and the rocks on the horizon ain’t in the far distance any more but coming with touching distance, are we being purposely being allowed to drift to our own ignominious end and left to a wrecking crew to be picked over by scavengers…??

There is a scenario where new owners actually have some money though! I know we’re naturally sceptical based on the entire history of Pools but a while ago I could only see it ending badly because Raj wants a pay out, whether he’s due one or not. The fact that someone has stumped up enough cash to actually do any kind of deal suggests they do have some money. Has anyone ever paid money for Pools before?
Clearly this should all have started earlier though, which is Raj’s choosing. There never seems to be much strategy with him, he just spits his dummy out and reacts accordingly. From the outside that fans forum seems to have triggered the sale.

I think it was someone on the trust board messaging the NWC about organising a protest, which they obviously fed back to the club via our esteemed fans rep, which led to Raj throwing his toys out of the pram for the final time.
As for someone doing a deal, do they fancy getting it finalised? There's 2 weeks until our players contracts expire...

Some are still under contract so will need to be paid, others might be already looking for a new club if Pools haven’t offered them a new deal.

They might have money - but will they want to invest any of it in the playing squad?

Id be very surprised if they can pay Sings Golden handshake then buy a team.

The nothing happened yet tells me they want a freebie in a slightly lower division.

See we're we are in 2 weeks.

The NPL has confirmed it's 88 4 divisions of 22 teams for next season.

Rumours are all we've got. BBC Radio Borer has played the same interview about George Boateng's managerial ambitions twice this week rather than say anything about Pools - unless George is our new manager

Well looks like they can't accommodate us now.
So div 5 or 9 or FC Hartlepools 10.

What an absolute piss take this is turning into.

What is worrying is that within a fortnight Pools have to prove solvency. for the last few years that has been done with a note in the accounts stating that funding is guaranteed by the parent company. With that not being the case unless something dramatic happens, Pools will be technically insolvent and may not be allowed in the national league next season.

I hear what you are saying but until the fat lady singh's there's little point in anyone being ultra positive or deathly negative. Qué sera sera. We've all had a go at speculation for nine weeks with no guarantee of the outcome as it's impossible to be certain under the fire blanket of silence thrown around us.
