So in essence there is a lot of straw grasping going on with not an iota of evidence other than a vague statement six weeks ago by the so-called interim board who is reality are unlikely to know more than anyone else.

The media would have shouted it from the rooftops if they knew anything so their statements are worthless and HUST are no more likely to have any inside info that you or I given the relationship between them and RS. Make no mistake; RS is the only one who knows the full story and he ain’t saying.

The ‘potential buyer’ made an offer that was acceptable on the day Raj said he wanted to sell. The sale needs proof of funds, there has been none. Raj put a big chunk in last week but thinks he’s no better thought of, seems he is feeling very bitter.

Easy way to get fans onside would be to be a bit more transparent. Obviously he's not going to divulge sensitive stuff but a high level overview of the progress or lack of it would help.

This is the key bit for me. Raj has never seemed to understand that fans want to support him but he gives us nothing to go off and then the empty space he leaves is filled with rumours.
If the club released a statement yesterday evening saying 'funding has now stopped from the chairman, season ticket money has been well received etc.' and then said whats happening with the 2 offers. Are they both on the table, are they no further forward, are we very close to completion, has proof of funds been deposited? All of these things can be done without breaking an NDA and would actually get people to rally round the club if it was needed.
Instead currently we're stuck with some people saying the potential owner has no money, another group saying they will be taking over extremely soon and the rest of us with no clue what's actually going on.

Whatever he says it will just lead to more speculation/questions and prejudice negotiations .If i was him i would say nothing............and he is.

Even something as high level as the club is safe, or not. At least we'd have hope, or not. But certainly if there was a real likelihood that yesterday was our swansong then announcing that fact would have filled the ground imo.

As I was saying the other day, P&B says something and there’s a page of ridicule (rightly or wrongly.) Then stuff like this is posted and there’s no reaction. Makes absolutely no sense that there’s still no proof of funds - surely if there was no ongoing process Raj would be shouting from the hilltops about wanting a buyer.
And why would he feel bitter putting money in and being ill-thought of, when he hasn’t publicly stated this!

As I said, if we were in dire straits I'd have thought there'd be a rallying call before yesterday's game. Missed out on probably an extra 1500 - 2000 paying on the gate, potentially around £25k plus catering income.

Raj whilst not saying anything - has been quick to point that out in the past, though no comment has been made for quite sometime around that issue, as a sticking point in the deal going through.

The club will go bust, and move to Shotton Colliery as a phoenix club after The Trust sign a merger with The Axemen.

A few years later, I will win the club in a game of cards in the bar of the Comrades, and finally Pools will be mine.

I'll shut the club down, and turn wherever they ended-up playing into allotments with state-of-the-art pigeon crees, and the Yackers will vote me in as the mayor of Easington and South Hetton.
