Right first season finished respectable mid table.

D'oh accidentally pressed the allow DOF to renew contracts to players in the last year of their contracts, when I had just agreed 1 year contracts with them. Donald ducked the wage budget, as they are now all on 2 year contracts with increased wages.

On the plus side just signed a few freebies released from Prem teams. Potential good young team, hopefully sign a few experienced Pro's on freebies to counter.

Rob Jones signed for Arsenal on a free as a coach!!! Paynter (retired) wanted to come back as a scout but Coxall said we couldn't afford him!

I'm going all out attacking this season, with my young squad and will tell the board to aim budgets for promotion, or else!

Any advice?

I got mine off Amazon Prime the "Special Edition" version (whatever that means), runs off steam with the disc. Anyway the price was good.

Anyone else as sad as me and find gritty survival seasons more satisfying than comfortable promotion seasons?

I've just started a new game as Pools Manager, was amazed I recognised no players! Thought it was due to an update etc. However I must have pressed something when trying the initial settings. To cut a long story short I am enjoying the experience of not knowing anyone! Pablo Ruiz is a waste of a BIG wage BTW.

First season finished above mid table. Season 2 won L2 with 100 points, awesome. Am actually enjoying all the "made up " players as you don't try to sign "real known names". Makes scouting more important. Mind made a cockup as kept failing FFP so as when prepping for L1 released/sold a few players and signed a few younguns. Think my have too many right backs and wingers! That's the problem when you only play for an hour or so a day! May have to do a bit of wheeling and dealing before the new season in L1!

ANyone got the latest one? Not played on it for a few years but decided to get back into it. Connor Newton is a cracking ball-winning midfielder on it

Kenton Richardson is black on FM18.

Right serious question, halfway through the season in L1 Pools are 12th (when expected to be Cannon fodder). I (as manager) have been linked with the Southampton vacancy.

Should I take it?
Should I stay with Pools and let the younguns flourish?

Yours, Confused from the Metropolis!!!!
