Ahhh Mr P&B - 6 (SIX) pages of this thread now- No doubt, your preferred arm will be like Popeye's by now, all the self love you'll have been inflicting with it, given the Hullabaloo you've stirred up, over the square root of fuck all! refred

I had been readying my apology to you, but clearly not going to be needed anytime soon. I let you go and crack another one off, since you've had another reply :naughty: :liar:

An apology was never going to be needed on past predictions.
He is to Pool’s predictions what what Steven Hawking is to Rugby league.

Kamikaze pilots are more excited about their future than the average Pool’s fans….unless you’re a Kamikaze pilot with a season ticket.

Without wishing to be pedantic - I think you mean Garry (with 2 R's) bbolt

Probably still holed up in Bamburgh Castle. Wonder if he ever got his Jag back after it was repossessed mid- home game, back in the day sctatchinghead

Reckon we've got more chance of Uncle Ken making a comeback!

Was up at Bamburgh Castle on Sunday…his flag wasn’t flying so I suppose he was at his exclusive moated residence with helipad at South Hetton.

Agreed entirely, it's all pie in the fucking sky at present but unfortunately if it comes down yet again to Raj or no Hartlepool United FC as we know it then there may be a significant swing towards the Singh Party.

Just been talking to a fellow Poolie who reckons Sing is holding out for a decent pay off a clean slate exit.

Now given we're we are that tells me the potential new owners hold the ace card here.

Probably go to the end of the month now.

Life goes on.

Listening to Radio Tees commentary

There is a film crew in the ground today, led by Helen Skelton

Now are they filming a phoenix rising from the Ashes

Or the demise of a once great club

This season gets more bizarre

More than likely a 'Countryfile Special', extolling the benefits to health of a Vegan lifestyle whilst saving the planet blah blah blah'. Featuring the ultimate green football club, promotion chasing Forest Green Rovers taking apart the meat eating neanderthals of Hartlepool. Unfortunately someone didn't read the script.

It was for 'Coastal Towns' according to the posters at the ground. So actually centered around Pools rather than the Vegans.

You just put it all together, the few statements from the club, the seriousness around the process and even lack of leaks is reassuring. There have been hints on social media from the main person rumoured to be in discussions and reading that HUST statement today, you can’t tell me they don’t know something. I can’t believe they would be so upbeat if there wasn’t something happening. I’ve also heard stuff that was remarkably similar to P&B’s post, from someone I consider reliable.
While there are no guarantees, obviously, all in all I think parties are pretty far on with a deal and would be more shocked if a takeover doesn’t go through than if it happens.
And if I’ve got that all wrong, you’d be fully entitled to remind me!

We've been on the brink of going out of existence many times in the past and every time we've all been well aware of it.
I take the silence as a sign of things must be OK and no need to be concerned. Could well be totally wrong but when there's no alarm bells ringing in the press, from the club itself, or from the Trust I'm hopeful.

We're all reading the signs, or lack of them, and then forming an opinion. Not ideal but neither wild optimism nor gloomiest pessimism will make a difference or prove anything.
Raj has never been good at connecting or communicating with the fans, hopefully that will all change quickly once he's gone. In the meantime the speculation and rumours will continue.

Exactly. It’s far from ideal and we’re all just guessing, albeit there are crumbs to feed off.
Worth remembering Raj could have got on with this much earlier, could have done things entirely behind the scenes and just announced it when done. He didn’t need to panic everyone with yesterday’s deadline or make things weird with a statement about season tickets. Or, he could just have been open about the process. As it happens he chose to create the situation we’re in now. Nice one Raj!

if local journalists have not heard rumours then fans have no chance. radio tees sounding positive is a better sign than them sounding negative as they could have been. feel myself something is close to happen and then the fun starts if the new owners are not to our liking. it should not be anybody but raj but somebody much better.

Had a very worrying chat to someone at the match yesterday who had an hour long conversation with Raj yesterday morning. Let’s hope his concerns are resolved over the next few weeks.

on top of all that we do not know which party is causing the concerns and however much many will not like it rah might not be the biggest stumbling block or the bad guy in all this. we need to be careful what we wish for and any new owner should be treat with a blank sheet of paper on them and not a saviour until they prove to be.

I’ve turned to prayer.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
What is going on…???
We’ve all been done, it isn’t fun,
..and certainly not Heaven.
Give us this day, some sign of hope,
.and forgive us or questions..
Cos we won’t forgive those who transgress against us.
Lead us not, onto frustration, but deliver us from apathy ,
For thine has the info, the ability and the contacts .
Amen   :angelic-green:
