Yesterday, Thursday, 755 arrived in 14 boats!

Since I've been monitoring on 3 July the following has happened;

4393 arrivals in 84 boats in 39 days.

The Government will need another 9 barges just to accommodate these latest migrants.

Anyone got a spare bedroom for these poor souls?

Can I sell you a used boat with only 20 or so miles on the clock?

10 miles on the clock as the Border Farce pick them up half way across.

Who is going to be held responsible for the current fiasco re the barge, it’s a f***ing joke costing us the taxpayers millions.
From my limited knowledge Legionaries is caused when water lies in pipes for a long time, wasn’t the system flushed and disinfected, who ever signed off the handover should be fired.

I wonder what the menu is like on this boat and if the wine list is up to standard?

Used to be involved with that, when treating the water system, the entire system is filled with the required agent and every outlet ran and tested till the the sample shows positive signs of disinfectant in the out put of every outlet point and must be allowed to stand for several hours then flushed out and tested till no trace of the agent shows up on the tests.
Straightforward but time consuming.
However unless I misheard, they mentioned something that could lead to Legionella….not quite the same but that could be an awful lot of things.
As regards the Fire Brigade Union getting involved in this matter, if they’re so concerned why didn’t they complain about it when it was moored in the Shetland’s for several years. sctatchinghead…if it’s a risk now, it must have been a risk then.

Legionella............... now that sounds French to me.
No doubt our garlic and snail munching neighbours are behind this.

Looks like a bit of a disaster has happened in the channel as one of the dinghy’s has come a cropper, according to reports.

What is it that draws them through Europe, through all those countries sctatchinghead ….I suppose the transition from sand dunes and basic refugee camps in Calais to four star hotels, free food, in fact free everything free and no restrictions is just too good to miss.
Cause and effect…..?
As me nana would say, we’re soft as clarts.

If I could be a billionaire I’d give it a try…. But it’s not gonna happen
They have no right…and it ain’t gonna happen, but when all Party’s are run by middle aged students anything can happen.

The worrying thing is when all governments produce the same policies and listen to virtue signallers, you alienate the public and then they turn to those who sing their song….. history tells us the people vote for those who will be on their wavelength ……and we all know what happens then.

Lived on similar barges when I worked offshore in the U.K. and abroad for years and never was there a case of Legionnaires or what ever it’s called, surely it must be down to poor maintenance of the utilities onboard ?

The French authorities do very little to stop them. Why aren't the ECHR (and the lefties )putting more pressure on Macron to do more? It's a perilous journey.. a fact that doesn't seem to register with some folk. sctatchinghead

Isn't it about time the RNLI had "branches" on French soil?

They seem to be "collecting" these migrants closer to France than the UK!

By the way another 509 crossed on Saturday in 10 boats that's over 1600 in 30 boats in last 3 days.

I bet not one has any identity papers with them.

no point trying to stop em crossing the channel. The main problem is stopping them crossing the med and entering europe by other means. once in europe its too late as at the moment we are more or less forced to bare the load even if the average person is against this. Really these illegals are using the system not breaking it.

The majority are now coming from Albania which is a road trip to the French coast so they don't cross the Med. And most are young Males, no doubt with a large proportion of "villains".

Looking at the stewards at Saturdays game and judging by their colour and accents they weren’t borne and bred in the U.K. Pools now appear to be employing a private security company, they don’t employ the security personnel directly.

You might have been better off looking at the pitch instead of the stewards…..and if you did you’d notice some of our players colour and accents….?

You are inferring I am being racist which I am not, my comment was on entering the ground not whilst watching the game, I am pleased to see black people who come in for a lot of flack doing a job of work and stewarding is not the most rewarding of type of job. The fella who we asked where our seats was was very knowledgeable and polite guiding us to the correct row in the Mill House Stand.

Why refer to someone’s colour… just say the steward was helpful?
The colour is irrelevant.

it is but you cannot blame people for mentioning it. if the media and awards stopped mentioning black this black that others might stop this also. its not just those who promote everything and anything black in a positive manner its those who do the opposite at every opportunity. i only ever mention someone skin colour if i have to explain the difference when everything about them are the same but that.

Calm down I’m inferring no such thing, if you were, I doubt you’d be in Thailand for your extended visits, it’s just that we seem to feel the need to validate something that’s best ignored. I wasn’t having a pop, just using it as a an example.
If we all stopped talking about it, it may just go away.

Little chance of that while they keep forcing BLM down our necks all the time, plus all this taking the knee bollocks.
Everyone should be treated equally, no matter what colour/creed/orientation they are.
The only place I draw the line is the self identifiers who demand to be let in the toilets of their natural opposite sex, or who males who say they are women so they can compete against natural women making any competition pointless.

I watched an interview with Morgan Freeman and when asked about the question of race he actually stated if we stopped being obsessed with it and ignore it, things will get better quickly if we just don’t talk about it.

until a career drugged up criminal was killed by a cop thousands of miles away it was a question that never came up. there has always been people who liked to wear clothes designed for the opposite sex but no one made a big issue about it both them and the majority of the others. doubt a single one thought they were a member of the opposite sex when they did it. anyone who wears a replica kit do not think they are players of that club. what next, say you are a pools player and take the club to court when they refuse to accept your wish.

Funny thing is both those topics are fuelled by the media and for some bizarre reason our media follow the yanks lead,
I like to watch and switch the news channels and if you get something that figures big over here and the US, they don’t usually figure on the European channels as news items at all.
The thing is we live in a world where the vast majority do not share our social and moral values yet we preach to them.

Well another 1278 in 23 boats in past 7 days

Wonder what the true figures are with some of the crossings undetected and others in the back of lorries etc.

The fact that so many must inevitably go undetected means that we'll never know exactly how many have come in.
Perhaps if we force everybody to carry identity papers and then have systematic spot checks, the undetected might get detected but are we prepared to do that.
I'm afraid that the way things are going this country will be unrecognisable in twenty to thirty years time, maybe even quicker than that.
The politicians have to find an answer to this and to do that they have to come together and abandon the political point scoring that is taking place. It is serious now and it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better, given that it is not already too late.

Since 7 July I've monitored the arrival of these poor souls and the figure is quite astounding;

7395 in 51 days making an average of 145 per day. By the way in 143 boats - where have they gone?

With that figure it would make a staggering number of 53000 per year. About the size of Macclesfield and larger than Durham.

Where and when is this going to end?

By the way last 3 days are;

20th 337 in 5 boats
21st 661 in 15 boats
22nd 211 in 5 boats

Do we confiscate these boats on arrival. What about the crew of these boats or are they crewed by the invaders.

Just a matter of holding the rudder and pointing it to the White Cliffs, boats, old article though,

Funnily enough, Greece actually physically turn the boats back to Turkey with their boats, no one complains there.

knowing this country we,ll tow the boats back to france in case we get fined by the ECHR for keeping something that does not belong to us. surely anyone crewing the boats can get a job with the RNLI as they have experiance in channel waters.

This ECHR is just total bollocks, we’re the only country who abides by the rulings, the French especially just ignore them as do the Germans.
When was politics in this country taken over by Softy Walter’s grandchildren..,?

I thought licenses were required to sail the high seas, especially when passengers are aboard. There are maritime rules to be adhered to, especially in in one of the busiest strips of water in the World.
I doubt the ability to point a tiller straight classifies as a competent mariner.

The French don’t appear to have tree huggers, woke persons or leftie lawyers like we do.
