Worst injury I've seen on a pitch this morning... Freak accident in which one of our lads is in James cook as he has a deep cut on his cock!

Ps if you have an iPhone joe download 'final score' app, it's an app for local footy, has live scores n league tables on, plus future fixtures.

Aye I've heard they've been close to it for a fee weeks now. Got beat 14-0 today which won't have helped.

Lad who runs it now was dropped in it over the summer as loads of manor old boys players left so I'm told

Yeah I know Andy quite well.. He left us to take over Manor Old Boys, but the other guy left and a lot of other lads left with him, so he was stuck with a team of about 8/9.

I,m on the verge of packing sunday morning football in myself. every week its 2 or 3 bad referee decisions that are killing us.
Yesterday Ernie Copeland gave off side against us that never was that would have put us 2 nil up. then he waved a penna away that everyman and his dog saw that would have made it 3 nil and game over. he gave them a dodgy penna to make it 1-1 and let an off side go to give it to them 2-1. sometimes it feels like its not worth the effort.

The standard of refereeing is terrible. There needs to be more done to get younger men into the game. People like Ernie should have retired from refereeing 20 year ago.

Ernie reffed a game for us 2 weeks ago and had an absolute nightmare... Gave a penalty that was 5 yards outside the box, no action taken when one of the opposite players smacked one of our lads in the face... Some of the younger refs like Owen Easson, Tom Jukes and Craig Gilbraith are good to have. But the likes of Ernie and Alvin really should have packed in many years ago.

I was speaking about the refs to a mate of mine who is a ref, he said the problem is all the decent good young refs who come in now just get fast tracked up the northern leagues, so we're stuck with the old man at the bottom.

I debated going back to ref when we folded but decided that the abuse and hassle the refs get wasn't worth it. Yes they get stuff wrong but they don't set out to cheat anyone and will make mistakes.

I agree the fast tracking of refs is having a poor effect and even teams and fans in the northern league are complaing about it.

The league has lost about 6 games in the last few weeks to lack of refs which is worrying.

They always seem to manage to score at least 6. Takes the bad ref out of the equation.

Our 30 goal star striker was through on goal y'day and was brought down, only a yellow shown when it was a stone cold red...

Just gotta deal with it, we made sure we scored 6 though so decisions like that dont count.

I heard you scored a worldy on saturday chippo?

Chip you know as well as me its swings and roundabouts at our level. but its getting every week and its getting that players feel its not worth getting out of the scratcher for.

Its where the ref wrongly gives you offside, and the next time you get the ball you glide past a few defenders, go round the keeper, and then nutmeg the centre half stood on the goal-line.

Also known as showboating if you follow it up with a moonwalking goal celebration.

Back in the day was called being a prick.

Now I understand fully.

Well I wouldn't call it reffing... He turns up, stands in the centre circle for 90 mins (sometimes less) and blows the whistle at random times.

That sadly is our current situation, the FA rule regarding clubs are responsible for paying players fines then recovering money back is bollocks.. Club can't afford to pay the fine and I can't afford to pay it out my own back pocket as i've done many times in the past.. Still in discussions with FA see if they can help us out.

Thought players are responsible for owe fines or they should be. So that means all your games are off until monies paid.
