I know that it’s not Pool’s fault, I’m speaking just from my personal viewpoint if I’d organised it.
One thing that wasn’t clear though was the number of coach seats available by Palace for supporters and I know of two people who went to buy tickets on the understanding that there was no limit to the seats deal and basically went with the ticket.
Devil’s always in the detail.

The statement released by Pools clearly stated there were ten 53 seat coaches available so not sure why anyone would assume anything different to that.

Been trying all morning, just been told all tickets gone and we have asked for more but the Palace allocation is sold out as well. so the remaining 4000 in our stand may go to them.

It sounds as if you are going to have a good support coming down. The game will probably now 'sell out' in the Palace sections, so there is a good chance the gate could be 20k. It wont be our normal league gate of 24-25k, because Hartlepool have been given the Arthur Waite stand which holds just over 9,000. The rest of the seats in the stand are left empty. Presumably if things really take off you could have the rest! Anyway looking forward to it, one of the only teams I haven't seen Palace play live.

Not so sure...if demand is there, we'll open a section or two closer to the Holmsdale.
At the mo it's "sold out" for Palace @ c 17,000 inc. the 4,700 allocation to Hartlepool.
But if they open up the rest of the Arthur Wait stand that means another c.4,000 (Palace) could be sold.

Good Times for both Clubs if that's the case.

As predicted, we (Palace) have opened further sections of the stand thar was going to be exclusively for HFC. So crowd should now go to c. 20,000 +

In real life, people don’t get a ‘aroused’ reading ‘statements’ from the club, they hear the general message put across by the media who specialise in the vague.

There’s 3 more blocks in the stand to be opened up. Think best case scenario is Pools to be given one more (1000+?) and Palace to keep the 2 nearest the corner.

I take it they don't use up much space for segregation?
