if pools had found a couple of million quid in a cupboard after the window shut they would have been unable to use a penny of it till january. we got what dross was available under the rules.

Except the selection players that DC put bids in for before the deadline, none of which were accepted. Oh yeah, one of them was an underwhelming loan from Sunderland that fell through due to poor admin. That's why we had to go after free agents.

do think if pools had gone up like sutton our team would have looked different to the one that started the season or we have at the moment.

Name the players/club and the fees, you obviously know to make that statement ..... or did Dave tell you

If the loan was ‘underwhelming’, according to you..... then thank God for ‘poor admin’.

That's why we had to go after free agents.....or we were late out of the trap through no fault of our own

To be fair to Mr imp didn't Dave Challinor say we went in for about 25 players and for one reason or another knocked us back? Or did I dream all that? Down to wages possibly? Then we made desperate attempts to get the bottle thrower from Bristol and big Mike in. Anyway loads of money available January, I hope it helps the two new lads out.

Why would I mention the clubs and the fees? DC mentioned this through official channels but didnt reveal those details.

The loan was that guy who was on loan at Torquay when we played them in the play off final. Underwhelming. We missed out due to an admin balls up. Smacks of what DC said about him having to do everything himself.

We were late out of the trap but the window was still open. We obviously had time to make multiple offers but not one was accepted. You'd expect to get at least one.... if you're making a reasonable offers that is.

Anyway, according to your logic, all we needed to make some decent signings was some advance notice and an open window. We must still be sat on that money. January is coming. I hope the signings happen.

Although probably less money than there was because of it going on the wages of players who rarely play. Our squad is bloated to say the least.

Decent recruitment in January.
Then in May clearout the majority of the out of co tract players.
Then recruit in the summer.
Then promotion n ground expansion.
That was a good dream.
UTP.
Together we raise the ambition of our HUFC.

Think the hierarchy at the club now realize they have to up the standards to maintain these overbudget attendances.
Anyway massive game today.
Got the potential to make some serious CASH to boost the incoming players budget. UTP.

Why not make a fresh start and just for once try actually answering the questions please, swerving them and elongated waffle don’t count.
