Your behind the times, the kids were all on their x box or a similar type of gaming machine.

Same as school hours and the traffic goes ballistic, all these precious little kiddies in their teens being driven to school because apparently there’s too much traffic on the roads… ….we’ll end up with young adults who have no sense of direction, obese, flat feet and asthmatic.

and melt if rail falls on them. actually wish i was still at school now with the strikes teachers have, the place shutting down at the sight of a snowflake and being excluded for being naughty. i would never needed to go again. education, educuation, education is more like bollox times 3 when in the last year my lad was on 45,000 a year and was the worst paid of all his mates who did sod all at school when they bothered to attend and possibly have 5 gcse between the 5 of em.

Funny how the boilers in schools break down regularly but years ago they never broke down so you never got all these days off for bugger all….the only ever time I got a day off from ‘education ‘ was when I was aged 18 at college through the boro and heavy snow was forecast and they closed down at 3.00 in the afternoon ..transporter closed, weather was that bad and the bus I finally caught got me home for 8.30 on the night..a snow covered nightmare.

I think in those days if the boiler broke down you just put a jacket on in the class, in those days boilers were coal fired and mechanically operated valves etc nowadays they will probably be gas with loads of electronics controlling them.

in the past i have always wondered why women have to drink stuff like that. milk stout, gin with different mixtures, snowballs etc. it used to be hard enough to get served at some bars never mind having a shopping list of drinks to remember if there are a few of you. the buggers never seemed to drink what the other women did in the same company. awkwards sods.

Foley and that amazing strike against Stoke city in the cup. Goes to show some players don't go on to achieve anything despite huge potential but at least he can show his gran kids that wow moment.

Read that the LEDS that were fitted were supposed to go on lamp post that were taller hence the sh  it light spectrum. This was done on a national scale..some didn't read the information for these LEDs Instructions properly regarding optimal heights to cast a correct amount of light. that's why some of the LEds seem better then others. I'm saying LED..they may be fitted with some other form of energy saving..but totally useless technology..it's the future man. :uhoh:

Sailing on the water,
Like a cup and saucer,
You are in, and you are out,
With a clip across the face,
Just...Like...That...!!!

The signing of Russell Doing think we PAID 10 or 20k for him from Leeds and he was absolutely Shite. Always thought they should have paid us to take him

Sure that was about the same time as we had Tommy Sword who had Parkinson's or maybe that was what somebody told me back in the day to help excuse his shitness

Andy Pixie Toman- quite liked him up until his Churchill Salute at the Poolies got him and his porn tasch shipped off to loidland

John Borthwick, town lad but fucking hopeless+ couldn't hit a barn door- managed to ship him off to Fleethams too

Churchill’s was a V for Victory salute with the hand turned the other way…Toman’s was definitely of the V for ‘Fuck Right Off’ variety.
Happy to help

Can't vouch for "Porky", but Ray Kennedy definitely had Parkinsons. Was still 5 yards ahead of any Pools player, mind !
