So basically your going to blame the fans? Two or three on a message board will take the rap for the club going tits up? Nowt to do with the actual people in charge. If it wasnt for a few people outing coxall we would of gone tits up before raj took over.

Now im not saying raj is a coxall but concerns were raised about coxall and it forced his hand a lot sooner than maybe it normally would of done.

No I'm not blaming the fans, what I am saying is antagonising a person to the extent of that person chucking the towel in holds some responsibility for the people who do it, regardless of their number. They will have helped to remove him and, as you are aware as I am, I will constantly remind us of it. You are exaggerating once again when you use the term "the fans". At best it is only some fans. It is more than two or three as well. There are other forums. Oh and if Raj is not a Coxhall why bring the charlatan into it. One fact that is irrefutable is Raj pulled us out of the mire that Coxhall was majorly responsible for throwing us in to. That makes them opposites in my book.

Yes it is only some fans and when referring to Pools I did say that if you have another look. Take it as read that I should have done the same with Man Utd fans. In mitigation I am obviously intent on getting it right with Pools as I couldn't really care less about Man Utd but thanks for pointing it out.

I think raj delegate responsibility for the players to the managers and the recruitment guys . They hot it wrong . IMO 18/19 good players supplemented by loans when necessary

Do you know how much money Jeff Stelling actually put into the club?…….obviously not, but then why should any of us have the right to know.
But, does Jeff want rid of Raj?

At the time it was said that Jeff put £50k in but I've never seen any evidence of that so I treat it like any other rumour.
Only Jeff knows what he said and anybody actually present when he said it.
I think a lot of the gossip that went on when it was rumoured that the yanks were interested was excitement at the prospect and when it never happened all eyes turned to Raj. I don't remember the exact words that Raj used when he replied to the question in an interview with Chandy but they were along the lines that an official offer had not been tabled. Maybe somebody could resurrect it if it still exists.
In my opinion, for what it is worth, the yanks had a list of possible targets and Pools were on that list. It doesn't appear to me that it went any further than that. However if concrete evidence was presented to contradict that opinion I would succumb to that evidence.
It's gone now so we move on.
I always seem to get the impression that the yanks were only interested in the publicity and subsequent TV exposure and Wrexham are only a means to an end and that notion will be emanated when they eventually walk away. To Wrexham fans I would say enjoy the journey but keep an eye out for the pin that will eventually burst the bubble.

Not being up to date with how companies work, I would have if Jeff Stelling had put any money into Pools his name would be listed as one of the officers of Clarence 18, only Raj Singh name is listed ?

I'm glad you are so sure of that.... based on nowt really. Oh well.

Does this sum up this ridiculous situation then? Most people agree the club is stagnating under Raj... to various degrees. Some people are scared of saying so as it may make Raj angry if he reads it and he will then make things worse out of spite. They also try to stop other people saying things for the same reason using belittling, dismissing, excuse and scapegoat creation and other such tactics. Done for love of HUFC but pretty tragic nonetheless. They claim to be bored with Raj doubters but the doubters arent arsed as they are not here to entertain anyone. Meanwhile we await a sale with no assurances that Raj is asking a real world price or a star wars price.

Why would Raj tell us the asking price, we haven't a clue how much he's invested / owed / taken out / we don't know the liabilities outstanding to creditors / etc and that's the same with most businesses.
As for belittling of the Raj doubters, seriously??? You're quite happy to belittle Raj at every setback (real or perceived) but are a bit sensitive - stones and glasshouses there I think. Coffin dodgers isn't exactly complimentary is it?
Even though there's polar opposite opinions, and each side thinks that the others constant voicing of the same stance is tedious, I'd say most of what is said on here is within the bounds of acceptability and even respectability.

Not expecting him to tell us the price. You seem CERTAIN he'll sell for something reasonable. Based on what?

Nobody has ever belittled Raj on here. Criticised yes, plenty of ammunition to do that.

Poolies are the best fans in the world. That includes you lot. When I say stuff it is always with that caveat.

It’s was definitely 50k, (I was there) and Jeff is a shareholder to the tune of that amount.

You must have a different interpretation of ‘belittle’…
The definition of someone who who uses the word ‘belittle’ may be described as ‘derisive’ or ‘scornful’…. so we can safely say he’s been ‘belittled’ on a regular basis over an extended period ….. by some on here.

It still doesn't fit unless you broaden the terms scornful and derisive to all forms of criticism. That would not be correct.

We can safely say can we? Evidence?

If you had a half decent owner, he would employ decent people, it appears rajs biggest mistake is employ people who seemingly dont have much of a clue how to run a football club. No stability here. Even physios cant wait to get out of the club let alone players. We continually go down the same track, under prepared squad wise every pre season, probobly down to hardly any funds, to then panic mode august and september of bringing in any old kid on loan for a month, then rarely play them.

Maybe one day it might sink in your better off paying 2 to 3 good players good wages to get them, than to pay for 15 players to be useless, then build the team up not dismantle it like we did. Our aim now no matter what league we end in should be to build the team around deseruwe dodds and mancini, if we bother to get him on a contract when he is back to stop someone taking him that is. A quality keeper should be first thing on any new managers mind, because we all know before long a new manager will be here.

He did but if you look at the number of managers he had its pretty telling during his spell at darlo and pools.

All we can do is pray for a miracle, a gift from the football gods. The sugar daddy owner willing to throw good money after football. Until then, the other alternative is more than likely no football club. That’s unless - of course - the asking price or willingness to sell isn’t there? Who knows.

We got a gift via Dave Challinor, who is destined for very big things. Only the most elite of manager was going to deliver success with us.

We’re at the level we deserve right now. Just look at league 2’s top three and consider whether 2023 Hartlepool United should or could be in amongst those teams who have gone up and built upon their success. We’re a vintage NL outfit. If it wasn’t last season, it likely would have been this season for us to return/be relegated.

if the national league had existed years ago we would have been in it then for sure. the so called old pals act saved us. the thing was we had poor sides representing the club then but better than the one from last season and now how this one is now panning out after the early excitement. without 3 in the side missing from the early days this season most of the rest were involved in that period of hope.

Talking about the one month kids/ loanees/one month contracts and them not playing.
Mattock and Featherstone aren't kids and were put in straightaway, Johnson was virtually an ever present until he got crocked, the kid from Boro is also getting picked, so only the kid (ex Derby)
who's name escapes didn't get much game time. Those FACTS hardly back up your assessment of that particular situation.
Yes I know Featherstone isn't a loanee but he's on the same short term contract.

Last season was totally different, we had 3 managers in the space of 7 months or so.
The loanees and short term signings have been brought in by this manager and he's using them. By the managers own account the players are not doing what he tells them or expects of them, down to him to sort that out. Personally I'd be tempted to give some of our young players a bit of game time, at least they'd show a bit of hunger and passion. I remember us going to Orient a few years back when they were in deep shite and had to play mainly their youth side and they murdered us. At any level, desire and effort can pay huge dividends, it's missing from our players and apparently the manager and coaches too.
Can see Saturday being a turning point for many fans, there was a few slating some of the players in the Chester game that'll be increased if they don't put in an improved showing.

Unfortunately these young players will get ruined by this team, lets be brutal here they just lost to guisely in the fa youth cup so have we got any gems amongst them? one things for sure like you say they would probobly battle and fight.
