Correct, we are reaping , zippity doo da day.

Enjoy…because you’ll be shitting yourself when the wings fall off…and believe you me ….they do.
You’ll soon know how committed they are if they aren’t in the playoffs, Challinor will be out…… if they’re ambitious…if not, then you’ll find you’ve got a transient owner.

Bitter, oh so bitter. You really do come across as a self centred bigmouth, likes to look into the future and see what suits him, I will just enjoy the ride if you don’t mind. I may be a bigmouth myself but I treat people as I find them. Hope you enjoy your ride, btw DC will be out if he doesn’t deliver, not rocket science.

As long as your club doesn't go bump there's always hope of a return. We dropped down to the Conference North but were eventually able to rally and find our way back. Yes we had a takeover that brought with it a boost in finances but the momentum was upward even before that. Jim Gannon would have eventually got us back into the league anyway although probably not yet. We were 7th when Covid stopped football and although the takeover had gone through just before we didn't see the effects of it until later.

I hope you stay up, I'd rather see the the plastic clubs like Crawley and Salford or someone like Crewe drop out of the league than yourselves, but equally relegation doesn't have to be the end - as you well know. There are two ways out of that division: one is throw silly money at it and the other is have a good manager with a tight knit squad working their knackers off like you had when you won the playoffs with DC.

Good luck getting rid of Raj and for the rest of the season.

Don’t forget YOU were the one who came on this board with less than complimentary comments about our club.
I have no wish to visit any other clubs board and never have to register bragging rights, but you just can’t resist it…. aye make the most of it, you never know when it’s gonna go tits up… and guess what, I’ll come nowhere near your board as I have too much respect for your decent fans.

SK39DD....every now and again we get some clueless dimwit from the opposition trying to rub our noses in it, but it doesn't wrangle the huge majority of our fans on here who've seen it all before.

My guess is your actually aged about 14 (or have the intelligence of) and that the SK in your name stands for something like Stroppy Kid, the 39 is obviously the IQ level and DD for either Drawing Dole(as you've spent so much time on here) or Dull as Dishwater.

As for referring to our fans and club as tinpot, well you obviously haven't done your homework, as the biggest disparity between league position and average attendance in League 2 actually belongs to Hartlepool Utd, yes our club, 11 places to be exact, 13th best crowd average and 24th in the league. Guess who's second, Stockport, yes second, not first, so you cannot even surpass us on that front, and we're bottom, not 12th.

Please do us all a favour and jog on...

You sound like your user name  , your overestimating yourselves, your comparing yourself to the likes of Salford, Harrogate, Rochdale and Crawley, I’d say you are marginally better than them but there’s no need to wet yourself over that, know your place woodentop.Let’s use facts not disparity or are you another who can’t handle the truth?

Self delusion appears to be your problem. You’re a less than average lge 2 side as the results testify.
Like all juvenile windbags in this situation you naively assumed you were gonna go storming up the leagues then it slowly became apparent that it doesn’t quite work like that and the handbrake of reality kicked in, but you keep denying reality.
Chest beating, tub thumping bravado is just that, nonsense.
I’m not going to knock your club or supporters, but visiting other people’s boards repeatedly with your delusional claims paints everyone in a bad light unnecessarily.
Grow up.

just what started all this in the first place. i really detest those 4 clubs you mention and can add the fans of crewe to that number as well. paedo deniers. would never dream of going on their sights slagging em off though. always remember its an accident of birth when you were born or live to who you support. you could easily have been born in hartlepool or live there then you would regard stockport like we do, just another team we play. being from a mixed family as my son is a season ticket holder with you and started in the kevin francis age. he didn,t fancy pools but did your lot and was glad as he was not a premier league camp follower like his mates were.

The reference to the attendances by some clubs in the NL being higher than some clubs in League 2 is due to the likes of Sutton, Harrogate, Salford, Crawley etc being financed by multi millionaires as a hobby without any history or fan base getting promoted. Three up, three down will get approved at some point, but all it will do is allow more of these plastic clubs into league 2.

take away wrexham, chesterfield and notts county what are the rest of the attendances like. imagine other ex league clubs will be next on the list. if those 3 were promoted and 3 of the 4 you mentioned went the other way that would be ideal. however 3 clubs like pools, rochdale and even colchester going down to be replaced by 3 boreham wood types would make league 2 weaker and less interesting for many fans in it. doubt anyone can have much of a gripe with the teams voted in with possibly the exception of hereford who got there mainly through beating the mags and ronnie radford.

York, Southend and Oldham as well as those 3 are all averaging over 5,000 for home games. Oldham are getting over 7,000 a game in the bottom 4 of the NL.
3 up, 3 down makes sense for 'proper' clubs like them. Good for Pools too unless you think we will never drop out of the League again.

top 7 are all ex league clubs but 4 of them have finances we would be worried about in their attempt to get league football back. problem is you cannot pick and choose the 3 who did go up and down. one good thing about it is if a few more traditional non league clubs get into the league relegation for us might not feel as bad. how many back in the non league days picked the games they attended to coincide with pools playing another ex league club and missing the dover/ maidenhead type ones.

yes, especially after the thread was started on november 20th with so much football still to play. no one has won anything on that day or been relegated, even pools.

It was a very relevant subject when it started, we were THAT bad. It's still relevant now sadly as we aren't that far off the bottom. I can't see us not looking over our shoulders any time soon sadly.

If we were offered fourth bottom by close of play on boxing day, when this thread was started on Nov 20th, we would have snatched the proverbial hand off. I am remarkably pleased and satisfied with how events have turned out since then. We now have to outsmart at least two of our current rivals both in the Jan window and in performances/ points gathering until the end of the season. It is simple to say it like that, let's hope it is equally simple to achieve it.

Even though we only 2 pts adrift id class KCs task even harder than Ronnie Moores greatescape season.
