It's best not to watch them, just turn up on the day, then give them the run around.

Yes, that is a fair comment. I didn't realize the Chelsea v Chesterfield game was broadcast live. OK perhaps Palace v Pools will be live.

Yes and in some of the Pools highlights over the past few months it can be seen that Lidds has frightening pace as well.

The decision making and infront of goal antics will be the defining factor when it comes to the big lads. We got away with Murder with blackpool really, their striker thankfully was having that said 'off' day. Unfortunately Prem strikers wont miss as many open chances. But this is all stuff we know. I still want us on the TV just for the cash.

£110,000 is for the games being shown on TV.
We'll get Radio Tees coverage on the internet.

Waiting for the fixture timings since this is one match I can get to.

Friday night is Man U vs Middlesbrough. Consecutive TV matches for the Red side of Manc.

Man City vs Fulham is not selected for coverage. . I suspect there is a conspiracy

if and when they win they,ll be televised for the next game as well. could understand if they were away as usually they are looking for shocks. Manure might as well just sponsor the sodding FA Cup now as they seem to be on the box more than bradley walsh.

Man U are pretty hopeless at the minute and the Boro have more than a dog's chance of pulling off a shock.

Ronaldo has been a disaster for team unity. He should be binned like Aubameyang was at Arsenal, but they won't dare.

Bang goes the chance of a big crowd - Crystal Palace have set ticket prices for the cup tie at £20 in advance and £25 on the day.

Palace fans deeply unimpressed: “Pathetic making this £20 a ticket. Gonna be more Hartlepool there than Palace”

Run that one past me again, are you suggesting £20 is too much for Palace fans to pay to watch their team play Pools in the FA Cup? Because if that’s the case they truly are a yo yo club with a patchy fan base.

Depends how much they have to fork out over a season for match day tickets or season tickets, I'd imagine.

It seems to be the case that normally the club heavily discounts cup games against lower league opposition but this time they haven't. Not being a Palace fan, I can only go off what their lot are saying ;)

For away fans in the premiership they charge £30, so £20 is a fair reduction.
They would have had to agree with us as well so presumably we've had some input to that decision.

I do not think that 4750 is enough tickets for Pools feel it will mean a lot of disappointed poolies . By the rumblings amongst the Palace supporters they do not seem that interested and surely can give us another 3000 tickets so all fans home and exiled can get tickets.

Anyone watching thr Palace game tonight will be in the same opinions of me.
They are like the young lad at the golf course. All the gear no idea. They have an absolute abundance of talent yet are shite. Their attacking line is class. They have pace and power yet cant get into the Brighton half.

I hope alot of the southern poolie fan base get tickets and i have no doubt we will take a hell of a lot now this deal has been sorted out.

I am flying over from Belfast on the Friday, obviously not a season ticket holder so will have to wait until this Friday to buy tickets, what's the thoughts? Will there be any left by then? Also, where will the majority of poolies be before the game? There doesn't seem to be a lot of boozers near the ground, I know they have a fan zone but it will be rammed surely? Do we think we will sell the 4700?

I imagine there'll be plenty tickets left thebizarredj. We have under 3,000 season ticket holders.

As for what's at Selhurst Park, no idea. Seems CP are eager for Pools fans to go in the fanzone. Once again no idea what that's like.

As for selling the 4,700. I think it'll be close. The concession coach travel will surely help boost the numbers and that will probably sell out.

Don't be fooled by that performance. Worst of the season from us.

Our change in style this season has been nothing short of miraculous.

It sounds as if you are going to have a good support coming down. The game will probably now 'sell out' in the Palace sections, so there is a good chance the gate could be 20k. It wont be our normal league gate of 24-25k, because Hartlepool have been given the Arthur Waite stand which holds just over 9,000. The rest of the seats in the stand are left empty. Presumably if things really take off you could have the rest! Anyway looking forward to it, one of the only teams I haven't seen Palace play live.

Not so sure...if demand is there, we'll open a section or two closer to the Holmsdale.
At the mo it's "sold out" for Palace @ c 17,000 inc. the 4,700 allocation to Hartlepool.
But if they open up the rest of the Arthur Wait stand that means another c.4,000 (Palace) could be sold.

Good Times for both Clubs if that's the case.

Because the match is NOT on the telly in the uk, It will probably be broadcast overseas.
So they could well be income from that

I know the Blackpool game was on ESPN+, who show all FA cup games.
As well as Aussie networks, and others.

My level of watching a football game is based on what im looking at, who is playing and what level said teams are playing at - If Pools played like that first half at our level with our players id class it has a really good half with some promise. As such i was watching a Prem Team worth Millions so my expectations differ. I watch Pools with an open mind every game, i realise we are a new L2 club with some under achieving players at times. I thought we played excellent football the other night, scoreline didnt reflect it. Had said team be in prem playing with a few bobs worth of strikers and we played like that and didnt score then id say we played shite. All relative.

There was only 520 coach tickets I believe.
Just my opinion, but I thought it daft selling the coach tickets to non season ticket holders when they couldn’t buy a match ticket, season ticket holders should have had first choice. The way it’s been done someone who goes to two matches a year could pick up a coach ticket.

Hobin said Palace stipulated the bus tickets could not be earmarked for anybody, season ticket holders or otherwise, so Pools' hands were tied
