Compton put a picture online today of his 'last night out in hartlepool'

Wouldn't be surprised too see him move down south closer to his kid

I see. Is the fact, that you wouldn't be surprised, linked to the fact that he said that this is his last night in Hartlepool?

Re Walker- a player doesn't have to have his contract about to expire to be offered a new one.

I just think it was worded like he's not coming back, normally you'd probably say last night out In hartlepool this season, or last night in hartlepool for a while...

It just sounds final that's all.

He's always talking of being home sick, his new bird is based down south aswell.

Just saying that's all

Just a thought like, that Compton might not be the most proficient exponent of the English Language and the picture was actually saying 'last night out in Hartlepool' As in it was taken last night and they were out in Hartlepool.

He clearly isn't the brightest to be honest and his Twitter posts do my head in. Only last week he posted 'heading back North' with a sad face smiley. Look mate I know it's hard leaving your daughter but you are heading North to be payed for playing football, imagine like countless numbers of people you were leaving home for a few days to do a proper job. You feel like giving him a shake as he is a talented player but he has no perspective and understanding that their are people far worse off in the World and his 'woe is me' Twitter feed is embarrassing.

I had to stop following him, his childish cryptic tweets done me head in, n the moaning was just non stop.

Footballing wise I really hope he stays as there is a proper player in their, just needs a run, was going well till he got sent off n then injured. Interrupted his flow a bit. The boys got it though

He is a proper emo on twitter like, posted the other day he was listening to my chemical romance and dying his hair blue to match his mood.

I like footballers to have a semblance of intelligence, which means they think about the game while they are out on the pitch. Playing on pure instinct and natural ability only gets you so far - the players who are more intelligent ultimately end up being part of a winning team

However this is a minority as anybody can become a footballer, as Compton and many others like him are the proof

Compton reminds me of Halliday....buckets of talent, but using it productively presents the problem.
He's like a wind turbine...fine when the wind blows...but the wind is stop start and so is Compton.

Sounds like there will be quite a bit of change if Cooper gets his way with the retained list after reading this in The Mail

http://www.hartlepoolmail.co.uk/sport/football/hartlepool-utd

Sounds like the meeting on Tuesday should be interesting. Particularly like the bit where he has a pop at the players for telling him they have plans for Tuesday and Wedsnesday when he hasn't released them for their holidays. Confirms that they have had it all too much their own way in recent seasons and not enough strong determined leadership.

Go on Colin my son give 'em all hell

Good too see him laying down the law with them, for too long now this clubs been like an old boys club, players running the show, taking the piss out of the management and us, that needs to change.

Clean sweep, get rid of as many as you can Colin.

I may be wrong, but as far as I can recall that's the first time he's "Done a Cooper" (Neale that is).
