Stuart Nelson, two mistakes I'm afraid. Bad day at the office.

We scored two good goals, but Hartlepools passing and movement was streets ahead of us and they out battled us.

Wake up call, the better team won. 3-2 I thought would have flatterd us a bit....

PJ, I guess you were at that 2-1 midweek defeat at Brentford a few years back? Brentford didn't get a sniff all game and yet scored 2 late goals, the winner in injury time I think. Nelson was in front of the pools fans and turned turn us on the final whistle, mocking us by rubbing pretend tears from his eyes. I have hated the guy ever since and hope he sas given shit today by the pools fans.

I've got to say that those two mistakes by that prat today felt as good as when cheating Turley managed to gift Boydy a goal at Rushden the season after he'd been 'gunned down' to deny us a deserved goal in the chamionship decider.

i cant believe that dick saying the referee gave us decisions the ref and the linesmen on our side were a bit naff IMO but we got the 3 points all that matters

I didn't realise how good the third goal was until I saw it again on the tele, great strong typical tackle from Nelse in our half, superb play from Liddle to spread the ball out wide and lovely link up play from Monky and Joel finished with an unstoppable shot. Total football.
