How about we hire a venue and have a 70's and 80's 'Gem & Twins' night ?

Lots of publicity etc etc fill the place out. Good night had by all.

We'll have to dig out Steve Pettigrew and buy him a wig. Where did the Lesley the witch go to ?

One of my mates has been looking into doing this. There was a night before but the attendence was not as good as expected. If the numbers are there, i'm sure it can be organised. I'd defo go (despite only going to The Gem in the latter stages. It was Buzz and Zoom when I went. Same stuff really)

It's all about publicity nothing else. A bad do well publicisised will always get more people that the best do in the world that no one knows about.

Downstairs isn't used by Rileys....it's empty!!!! :grin: BTW....a mate of mine tried a 'Gem' night in The Clarendon a couple of years ago....probably the same person Mr.Jish mentioned!!!! :grin:
