Darlo have just signed him for £100k, I would have loved to have seen him at Pools. He was great at Huddersfield for a couple of seasons and then for whatever reason just lost it.

However for £100k its a steal.

Also suggests that Swansea are pretty confident of getting Duffy

Hmmm

So Darlington tried to sign Adam Boyd, a 25 year old striker who got a shedload of goals in League One two years ago, scored 41 in a season and a bit, but has only scored about 20 goals in the rest of his career and has done little for two years. The signing didn't come off and the Loids were crowing about how they didn't want a "one season wonder who's turned shite".

They have now signed, well, a 25 year old striker who got a shedload of goals in League One two years ago, scored 41 in a season and a bit, but has only scored about 20 goals in the rest of his career and has done little for two years.

And they are turning cartwheels? sctatchinghead

Good player though, if he can recapture it.

Danny Wilson will have known about him and passed on an approach. I'm more than happy to trust his judgment.

Over the last few seasons Abbot has got to be one of the most slagged off players by fans of his own club.

Both Huddersfield and Swansea fans thought that he was the biggest pile of steaming manure they had ever seen and shouldn't have been on a footie pitch.

Money well spent for the loids as he'll fit in a treat with them.

I don't see the problem - there is nobody in Huddersfield worth talking to, so he did the obvious thing really.
