Meant for dancin'! I'm not precious though - didn't listen to it at the time although I had pals who went to the all nighters so happy to catch up now on CD. The double CD 'In Crowd' is a beauty as is the accompanying book.

There's only music you like and music you don't for me. Fortunately I like most things - other than Joss Stone who's just havin' a laugh at our expense.

Motown Connesieurs also top stuff.

Best soul compilations though are Dave Godin's Deep Soul Treasures (4 volumes) - awesome stuff!

Northern Soul is ace. There's loads of nights down here which me and our lass go to from time to time. We've got loads of compilations, the best I reckon is the 'Talcum Soul' set (4 voulmes up to now).

I bought a double DVD of MP3s/real media files off ebay which has over 10,000 tracks on. Let me know if you want to copy them. At the moment I've got through to letter C.
